After the girl finished speaking, she turned to Jared and asked, “What are you planning to sell?”
“Oh, I also went to sell my celestial crystal; it’s just not as large as yours.”
Jared casually pulled out a celestial crystal as well, though it was significantly smaller than the one the girl had.
“Yours isn’t exactly small, you know. I’m aware of a place that offers the highest price for them. Why don’t you come with me? Right, I still don’t know your name yet. I’m Mia Sykes,” the girl enthusiastically offered.
“I’m Jared Chance,” Jared said with a faint smile.
With that, the two of them journeyed together. Given that they were fifty kilometers from Beast City, it would take some time before they could reach their destination.
After a short while, Jared’s brows slightly furrowed, his expression turning cautious.
Not far behind them, several auras had locked onto them.
The young girl seemed oblivious to everything around her, continuing to walk forward with a cheerful smile on her face. All the while, she was engaged in a lively conversation with Jared.
“Mia, you stole our young master’s celestial crystal and even dare to sell it in Beast City? I can’t believe how brazen you are!”
At that moment, several figures dashed out from behind Jared and Mia, effectively blocking their path.

“You’re nothing but a jerk, showing absolutely no regard for women. I can’t believe I wasted half a day with you!”
With a fierce glare at Jared, Mia reluctantly handed over the celestial crystal.
After the bearded man received the celestial crystal, he casually gestured for Mia to be restrained.
“Let me go, let me go. I’ve already returned your celestial crystal,” she pleaded. “I need to go to Beast City to see my brother. I must see him!”
Mia struggled, but her efforts were futile.
Watching Mia struggle, Jared stepped forward, blocking the path of the cultivators.
“Buddy, she has returned the celestial crystal to you, so could you do me a favor and let her go?” Jared suggested to the bearded cultivator.
