After they were gone, Jared stared at Beast City. The massive city was sprawled across a vast expanse of the land.
Jared was drawing closer to the Beast City, but just as he neared the outskirts, a sudden surge of spiritual energy caught him off guard. Following this, his body unexpectedly began to plummet at high speed.
Jared suddenly felt a wave of panic. He didn’t know what was going on, but it seemed as if the spiritual energy within him was momentarily neutralized by something, causing his body to fall.
Despite the lack of protection from his spiritual energy, Jared would be unharmed even if he fell to the ground. After all, his physical strength had reached a point where he was impervious to any attacks.
Nevertheless, if he were to crash into the ground, ending up face-down in the dirt, it would be utterly humiliating for him.

As Jared was falling, a girl dressed in red and wielding a sword spoke to him.
Jared then saw her near him, descending from the sky.

“I also want to sell some stuff, and while I’m at it, I’m going to pay a visit to my brother. My poor brother has been arrested by the Law Enforcement Department and thrown into prison. They won’t let him out for another hundred years,” said the girl.
At the mention of her own brother, the girl’s mood took a somber turn.
Jared merely glanced at the girl. Without uttering another word, he headed straight toward Beast City.
Jared wasn’t a cultivator from Beast City, hence he preferred not to say too much. After all, the more one spoke, the more likely they were to slip up. If his true identity was discovered, it would surely spell trouble.
