“Did you say someone came looking for me?” Jared was puzzled. Who could it be? What was so important? “He said his name was Quindon Yuchamore from Gate of Heaven’s secret realm. I told him to leave his address here so that you could look for him afterward. However, he left without doing so,” Godrick responded.
“Quindon Yuchamore?” Jared was stunned. Why did Quindon leave his secret realm to look for me in the mundane world? As a cultivator, leaving the secret realm for the mundane world can be a painful experience. Not only will he be restricted by the laws of nature, but his cultivation might even decrease in the more severe cases! I know he’s one of the purple- robed emissaries of Evil Heart Sect, but why did he seek me out in the mundane world? What could be so important? Regardless of the reason, I think it’s safe to assume that something is definitely up.
With that in mind, Jared instructed, “Godrick, stay alert. If Quindon comes again, report back to me immediately!” “Okay!” Godrick nodded and left.
Right after Godrick left, Fernando hurried over. Upon spotting Jared, Fernando uttered anxiously, “Mr. Chance, Great Elder has been looking for you. When I heard that you were back, I came as quickly as I could. Please follow me.”
“Great Elder? Why is he looking for me?” Jared asked. Who would’ve known that so many people would look for me when I was gone? “I’m not too sure, but Great Elder is waiting for you in the secret realm,” Fernando replied. “Okay. Let’s meet him in the secret realm.”
With that, Jared whipped out Thousands of Miles Away and teleported himself and Fernando to the Gate of Fire’s secret realm. When Chester saw Jared, the former hurried toward Jared and said, “Mr. Chance, something big happened in the Eight Major Secret Realms!”
“What happened? Did the other secret realms attack Gate of Fire’s secret realm?” Jared had only murdered the purple-robed emissaries in the secret realms of Gate of Fire and Gate of Thunder. Hence, he was certain that there were six other purple-robed emissaries still working for Evil Heart Sect in the other secret realms.
That was why Jared thought the other purple- robed emissaries had used Teleportation Array to bring men over to attack Gate of Fire’s secret realm.
“No. As of now, only the people in the secret realms of Gate of Fire and Gate of Thunder remain. The residents of the rest of the secret realms have all disappeared. No one knows where they are. I strongly believe that something bad has caused the disappearance of those people,” Chester revealed.
“What? Disappeared? Are you telling me those secret realms are now deserted?” Jared was bewildered. What happened to those people? Why are they all gone? They are all rather strong. cultivators. In fact, Quindon of the Gate of Heaven’s secret realm is very likely to have surpassed the Top Level of Manifestor! How did so many strong cultivators disappear? Where did they go?
“Could this be the reason Quindon came to look for me?” Jared murmured with his brows furrowed. Yes… Quindon must’ve sought me out because everyone in the secret realms has vanished.
“Did you say Quindon went to look for you, Mr. Chance?” Chester was caught by surprise. Jared nodded. “He went to the mundane world to look for me, but I was away. Therefore, I don’t know why he wanted to see me.”
“That’s strange. You ought to be more careful from now on, Mr. Chance,” Chester urged.
“Got it!” Jared then left the secret realm of Gate of Fire and returned to Jadeborough. Before he even stepped into Deragon Sect, he was stopped by Xavier.
“Jared, Mr. Sanders is inviting you over,” Xavier said. Jared was filled with exasperation. I’ve only returned not long ago, and I haven’t even had time to rest! Why are so many people looking for me?
