After hanging up the phone, Nicholas turned around and pushed open the office door with a dark expression. At his sudden entrance, Tessa suddenly turned around. It was obvious that her eyes were red with tears and full of grievance.
As he glanced at her, he felt as if he was stabbed in the heart. However, he quickly restrained himself. Then, he stepped forward and told the police, “There’s no need to interrogate her anymore.”
The police officer was surprised and looked at Nicholas in confusion. “President Sawyer, why is that?”
