Shouldn’t Mess Up with My Hidden Heiress Ex-wife Chapter 151 by HusnaS

151. Pay for Disfiguring His Face

“Well, do something about it, Tracy. We can’t let Lucas Harrison believe that scandal.”

How could Tracy prevent him from believing a scandal she wasn’t sure he’d even heard about?

Then if it wasn’t because of the scandal, why would Lucas Harrison barge into her parents’ home and interrogate them?

Fiddling with her phone, Tracy dialed his number.

After a few rings, Todd answered his phone.

“What’s up, Babe-”

“What did you do to Lucas Harrison?” Tracy interrupted him. “Are you aware that he’s searching for your whereabouts?”

“Ha, I know!” Todd laughed. “And if it wasn’t for someone dear and kind to me, I would still be in police custody.”

“Quit it. Just tell me what you did, Todd.” Tracy gritted her teeth.

Todd answered, “If you want to know the answers, how about you meet me face to face?”

Then he hung up and sent Tracy his address.

Tracy’s eyes became dim and she gripped the phone, staring at the address.

“Ms. Carlson, where are you off to?”

“Get out!” Tracy pushed the maid out of her way and grabbed her shoes then hurried out of the house.

Mira scratched her head, looking confused.

Hours passed by, and Tracy didn’t return. The maid began to get worried.

When Lucas returned home, he found it strange, sensing the house quiet and peaceful.

It wasn’t until he was eating dinner that he found the silence quite odd.

“Where’s Tracy?” He asked the maid.

“It has been three hours since she left home, Young Master. She left in a hurry as if someone was in trouble,” Mira responded, looking scared and worried.

Lucas’s brows furrowed slightly, then he resumed eating his food.

“Aren’t you gonna do something, Young Master? I think Ms. Carlson might fall into danger and do something to harm the baby.”

On the outskirts of Phoenix City,

A taxi pulled over in front of a mini Villa.

Tracy alighted from the car, her eyes darting rapidly around the empty area.

After making sure that there was no one else in the place, she hurried inside the Villa.

“I didn’t know you’d race down here.” Todd was sitting on the couch, drinking from a beer bottle.

There were tiny bruises on his face. One eye was swollen and his nose was broken.

“What happened to you?” Tracy asked, sitting beside him.

Todd didn’t answer but gulped down the beer until the whole bottle was empty.

“I have come as you demanded,” Tracy added. “Tell me why Lucas is searching for you.”

“It’s all your fault!?” The man suddenly pounced on her, caging her underneath him and yelling.

Tracy’s body trembled from head to toe. “W-What do you mean?”

“Why did you send me that voice note?” He grabbed her neck, exerting little pressure. “You little b*tch, I know you wanted to mess with my head. You wanted me to chase after that girl you named your friend.”

“Heidi?” Tracy gasped.

“Yes, Heidi.” Todd’s eyes glinted dangerously. “Because of her, Lucas Harrison is after my life. I can’t even roam freely because I know the second he sees me, he’s gonna kill me.”

Understanding that the matter was only related to Heidi, Tracy was relieved, sad, angry, jealous, and scared.

She was relieved because her family’s scandal was safe. Sad because she wished Heidi had died in Todd’s hands. Angry because Todd was so stupid. If he’d carried out the plan meticulously, he would have gotten Heidi.

Moreover, Lucas saving Heidi ignited her jealousy.

Now that she was trapped by this evil man, Todd, she was scared.

“Hey, y-you can’t blame me,” Tracy stammered. “I sent that voice note to you with no hidden intentions-” “Liar!” Todd glared at her. “You think I don’t know you? You are even worse than your mother.”

“Just leave me alone…”

“Oh, I will.” Todd released her neck, still trapping her on the couch. His lips pulled into a sinister smile and his eyes raked over her body. “So I heard you’re pregnant.”

“S-So what?” Tracy shifted uncomfortably, knowing that she couldn’t lie because she’d purposely leaked that news to the media so it could reach Heidi’s ears.

“Perfect.” Todd grinned wider. “It means you’re no longer a virgin.”

“Hey, leave me alone.” Tracy tried to push him away fruitlessly. “Aren’t you only interested in married women?”

“This time, I’ll make an exception.” Todd leaned forward, ripping off the fabric of her dress. “Lucas Harrison must pay for disfiguring my face. Aren’t you carrying his child?”
