128. Shared A Passionate Night
Not long after Heidi’s figure darted past the hallway, a slender girl came out of the adjacent room, her whole body covered with hickeys as well.
Tracy’s eyes were crimson, balling her fists and gritting her teeth. She snuck into the room Heidi came out of, and cried bitterly, staring at the man on the bed.
‘Lucas Harrison, why!? Is Heidi any better than me? Why did you sleep with her instead?’
‘I feel disgusted, you know.’ she wiped her tears. ‘I don’t even know that scumbag who ravished me last night.’
Then her lips pulled into a cunning smile, her eyes treacherous. Tracy took off her clothes and slid her naked self under the bedsheet beside the man.
Lucas woke up with a pounding headache.
“Heidi…” He called out her name, but the girl he found beside him wasn’t Heidi.
“Why are you calling Heidi when we just shared a passionate night, Honey?” Tracy said in an offended tone. “It’s unfair, you know.”
At The Olsens Mansion.
Harold Olsen was speaking so loudly, not allowing anyone to have a peaceful breakfast.
“Dad, you should have been there and seen how Heidi humiliated us all. She spread rumors and gave the AG Group out! Is it her mission to destroy the Group? Very soon, everyone will be after the Group.”
Heidi dropped her spoon. She just returned, starving, and couldn’t even eat a grain of rice because of her Uncle’s loud voice.
“Nothing is going to happen to the Group if you decide to be honest.”
Then she brought out the jewelry and placed it in front of Grandpa Jeffery. ” Does this look familiar, Grandpa?”
“Well, why not!?” Grandpa Jeffery exclaimed. “This is your Grandmother’s jewelry that went missing not long after she left us. Where did you find it, Heidi?”
Heidi glanced at Harold Olsen whose expression was deadly pale. “Uncle knows where I found it. He was the one who took and sold it.”
“You-Heidi You!” Harold Olsen trembled. “What are you talking about? Are you trying to change the topic about what happened at the gala?”
“This is also something that happened at the gala.” Heidi narrated everything to Grandpa Jeffery then she gave him the invoice that she’d taken from the staff.
Seeing everything for himself, Grandpa Jeffery frowned, his eyes looking back and forth between each family member.
The old man seemed to have aged a few more decades instantly, holding the jewelry protectively.
“Harold Olsen, I am very disappointed,” he expressed in a sullen voice. “You can’t deny that you didn’t take it. Why did you steal your mother’s jewelry?”
“You know this is very valuable, Brother!” Caleb butted in, enraged. ” Why would you steal it!?”
Harold shifted uncomfortably on his chair, avoiding everyone’s gaze and throwing a secret glare at Heidi.
He cleared his throat. “I- I, well! It’s not my fault!” He shouted. “AG Group was about to fall and I needed to fund the company. I had no choice but to sell Mother’s jewelry!”
“You’re lying!” Grandpa Jeffery stood up. “Won’t you ever change your ways, Harold? Did I make a mistake by letting you manage that Group?”
Harold lowered his head in shame.
Grandpa Jeffery sighed and turned to Heidi. “My dear granddaughter, you made me proud by bringing your grandmother’s jewelry back. I am declaring it as the family’s heirloom and it belongs to no one else but you.”
“No! Grandpa! You can’t do that!” Lilian screamed from the door, looking more haggard than when Heidi went to visit her at the police custody.
“Why are you always favoring Heidi, Grandpa!” Lilian strode forward. “Why does she get the heirloom and not us!?”
“Heidi saved this heirloom because your dishonest father was the one who stole it!” Grandpa Jeffery hollered.
Then he turned to Harold. “Let me warn you for the last time. If you don’t watch your actions, Harold, I will use my authority and make sure you live a difficult life.”
Harold wanted to retort when his phone rang. He answered it, and as the other person spoke, his eyes and mouth were agape.
