Shouldn’t Mess Up with My Hidden Heiress Ex-wife Chapter 126 by HusnaS

126. Her Identity Revealed

The crowd’s murmurs disrupted the silence in the hall, each one of their words not missing Heidi’s ears.

“Lucas Harrison has joined the bidding. He probably wants that necklace for his girlfriend.”

“It’s obvious. Even after the engagement scandal, Lucas Harrison still loves her. What a lucky girl.”

“And do you notice something? Lucas Harrison’s ex-wife happens to be here. How is she going to handle seeing her ex-husband openly showering another woman with love?”

Heidi’s lips twitched in annoyance, listening to their words.

Behind her, Tracy was smiling triumphantly. She held Lucas’s arm and cooed, “Oh, Honey. Isn’t 10,000 too much? You’re so generous-”

“20,000!” Heidi raised her number tag, her clear voice silencing the crowd.

“20,000! That’s huge. Another bidder has joined us!” The auctioner’s voice boomed. “Now things are getting interesting.”

“40,000!” Lucas announced, and Heidi could feel his deep gaze behind her.

“60,000!”

“120,000!”

“300,000!”

“700,000!”

“1 million!”

“3 million!”

“7 million!”

“8 million!”

“50 million!”

The gasps in the hall could be heard from another universe.

Everyone looked at the last and final bidder, eyes and mouths wide open.

“Fifty- Fifty Million!?” The auctioner almost lost his footing. Then he exclaimed, “Fifty million going once? Fifty million going twice, fifty million going thrice! – Congratulations! This pretty lady in a silver dress will now be the possessor of this set of jewelry.”

Many people had joined the bidding, but only one winner emerged.

No one could believe their eyes or ears, especially Lucas Harrison and the girl sitting beside him who looked ghastly pale.

“No way! She can’t afford that money.”

“But she just did! Who exactly is she?”

“Oh, she’s Heidi. Heidi Olsen. How could they think that they could contend with the wealthiest heiress in Phoenix City?” The man who spoke was the same middle-aged man who just uncovered Heidi’s identity.

And his voice was so loud, reaching everyone’s ears. There were more gasps across the hall.

“Ms. Olsen, you’re amazing!” Isla clapped, her eyes shining with admiration.

“Yes, Heidi. I never knew you were this wealthy,” Steve added.

To Heidi, fifty million was just a piece of cake.

If she revealed the vast number of assets and wealth her grandmother had left in her name, would they even be able to digest the news?

Unlike before, everyone now stared at her as if she was a goddess.

The murmurs continued, and Heidi glanced over her shoulder at the couple. Tracy looked frozen, and Lucas looked as if he’d swallowed glue, his widened eyes fixed on her, swirling with emotions.

Heidi looked away and proceeded backstage to retrieve the jewelry, unfazed and undisturbed by the crowd’s murmur.

“Please have a seat, Ms. Olsen.”

“There have always been rumors about the Olsens Family having a secret Heiress… who would have thought that it’s the truth?

“And why would the Olsens Family hide such a gem? Never have I seen someone so beautiful and elegant before.”

The staff gave her special treatment, each trying to curry favor.

Heidi proceeded with the transaction swiftly, and took the receipts and the * jewelry.

Once the jewelry touched her hands, memories of her Grandma rushed back.

Who would be so heartless to steal the jewelry?

Did they have anything against the Olsens Household?

Heidi was soon to know who that heartless person was when she saw the jewelry’s initial invoice. The heartless person was none other than Harold Olsen.

Heidi shouldn’t be surprised, but she was, as well as angry, her eyes dimming.

When she went back to the hall, the crowd’s astonishment had died down, their interest caught by the new bidding item.

Surprisingly, Lucas and Tracy were nowhere to be found. Including Steve.

Ha! The couple must have left in shame, right?

Heidi didn’t know what to do with Lucas. That man kept playing with her mind.

He said he wanted her back, then why the public display of affection with Tracy?

Her mood dampened and she grabbed a wine from the passing waiter. Heidi downed it all at once.

“Ms. Olsen, don’t drink too much.” Isla approached. “By the way, the KU Designs CEO wants to meet at the rooftop.”

“Where’s Steve?”

“I don’t know when he left.”

They walked into the elevator, which was supposed to take them to the rooftop. However, Isla hurried out halfway, telling her she needed to use the washroom quickly.

“I’ll join you soon, Ms. Olsen. Please go ahead.”

And the elevator continued moving. It didn’t take Heidi to the rooftop, though.

Her forehead wrinkled in confusion and she stepped into an empty hallway.

Isla must have pressed the wrong buttons, she thought.

So she turned around to reenter the elevator, but her ears caught voices.

“Ms. Carlson, I have carried out your orders. I made sure Mr. Harrison drank it all.”

“Really?”

“I saw him drink the whole bottle with my eyes. Mr. Harrison seemed to want to intoxicate himself willingly, and he didn’t notice that I put something inside his drink.”
