After Han Muzi heard about everything, her first response to Xiao Su was, “Where is he?”
“Young Master Ye is probably still at the hotel. Before I came out, he said he would wait for me to return.”
She felt slightly relieved as she heard that Ye Moxuan was still resting at the hotel. At least he’s safe right now. There’s nothing to worry about. She said hurriedly, “Then bring me to him.”
Xiao Su nodded immediately. “Okay.” Since he told her everything, he did not have to debate whether or not to take her to him.
When Yan heard that they were going to see Ye Moxuan, she quickly raised her hand. “Take me with you; I can help if anything happens. Muzi is also pregnant, so I don’t feel safe letting her go out alone.”
Han Muzi did not object and nodded her head. “Sure.”
Yan quickly turned around and went into the room to grab her things. At that point, Han Qing, who had been sitting not too far away from them and quietly reading, put his book down and looked up. “I’ll come with you guys.”
Han Muzi did not object to him either. Since he was her brother and Ye Moxuan was his brother-in-law, it only seemed natural that he went.
On the other hand, Xiao Su only remembered that there was another person in the house when he heard Han Qing’s voice. If Han Qing had not said anything, Xiao Su would have completely forgotten that he was there. The thought of Yan having feelings for Han Qing made Xiao Su feel aloof about him. However, his first line of duty was to go look for Young Master Ye and stop him. He could not afford to think of anything else at the moment.
When they were all ready, they set off right away. As they arrived at the hotel, they realized that the room was empty and not a soul was present. Han Muzi wrinkled her forehead without saying a word. However, Yan went off like a machine-gun.
“Where is he? You’re so unreliable, Xiao Su! Didn’t you say Young Master Ye was at the hotel? Why isn’t there even a single shadow in here?” Yan was slightly restrained as she said that. If it were not for Han Qing, she was about ready to tackle him.
For some reason, Yan felt like bullying Xiao Su whenever she saw him. But that also made her feel weird because both of them were not well-acquainted with each other.
Xiao Su, who was getting told off by Yan again, did not dare to bicker with her and just said, “Before I left, Young Master Ye was still here. According to the time, by now—” Xiao Su was stunned for a moment, then he nodded. “He might have had a hunch and left before we arrived.” Xiao Su was speechless after saying that. He thought, Young Lady Ye might be right. Young Master Ye is smart. When I didn’t come back at the allocated time and didn’t call to inform him either, he might have understood what was happening.
Xiao Su was caught off guard by that unforeseen event. Other than Han Muzi, no one else would have guessed it. After Ye Moxuan caught on, he headed out on his own.
“Take us to where he usually goes,” Han Muzi decided after pondering for a moment.
“Okay. Follow me.” Xiao Su did not hesitate and led the three of them out of the hotel.
As soon as they got downstairs, Xiao Su’s phone rang. Han Muzi immediately turned toward him. “Your phone rang.”
He brought out his phone and saw that Jason had shared his location with him. However, there were no other text messages attached nor was there a voice message. There was only a shared location.
Yan was the closest to Xiao Su. After she looked at his screen, she cried out, “Muzi, someone shared a location with him. The person is called Jason. Who is that?”
Jason? Han Muzi did not know who that was either. Then, they all turned to look at Xiao Su with curious faces. Just then, Xiao Su explained, “Jason is the doctor who has been treating Young Master Ye. He used to be Young Master Ye’s best friend, but then he went overseas to pursue his studies.”
“Let’s follow him.” Han Qing, who kept his presence hidden the whole time, spoke out suddenly.
At the sound of his voice, Yan immediately glanced at him eagerly. “Yes, let’s follow after him. President Han knows best.”
Han Qing did not respond. Because Yan liked him, she was always in awe of him regardless of what he did.
At that moment, Xiao Su, who kept a low-profile, could not help but feel envious. In a low voice, he said, “Isn’t that obvious?” He glanced at Yan after he said this.
Yan only exaggerated because of her feelings for him but she also thought that it was quite straightforward. Nonetheless, not everyone was on the same page. When Xiao Su refuted her, Yan stared at him furiously and almost wanted to fight him. But before she said anything, she felt like it would be too unladylike to act that way and she did not want to ruin her image in front of Han Qing. Alas, she held back her emotions and forced an awkward smile. “Then you should’ve said so earlier. I would’ve praised you if you said it a bit sooner.”
Xiao Su was speechless. Whatever.
Han Muzi frowned, feeling slightly perplexed. “Let’s go look for him first.”
Yan paused. She quickly realized that she had made a mistake. Although Han Muzi did not show her emotions, she must be the most worried about Ye Moxuan in the current situation.
If she had the power to, Han Muzi would probably fly to Ye Moxuan’s side in an instant. But, she just stayed calm and collected throughout the whole thing. It did not mean that she felt the way she looked though.
Yan was repenting for diverting the matter into a different direction. After beating herself up for a bit, she followed the others into the car.
The atmosphere in the car was down and nobody talked for a while. Xiao Su just headed in the direction that was on the shared location. Time ticked by, while Han Muzi sat in the passenger seat and did not utter a single word.
Yan buried herself in the corner. Although Han Qing was sitting next to her, she did not feel excited and focused all her attention on Han Muzi instead.

Over on the other side, when they arrived at their destination, Jason silently looked at the huge swimming pool in front of him. “Was this where you wanted to come?” He let out a breath of relief. Suddenly, he felt like years were added back into his life. Earlier, he was worried that Ye Moxuan wanted to go to the beach. After all, he had lost his memories after he was fished out of the ocean.
Ye Moxuan himself did not know what happened at the bottom of that ocean. Based on his recent obsessive attitude toward his treatment, Jason thought he might have wanted to jump back into the ocean to reenact that moment. It was a relief that he only wanted to go to the swimming pool.
“Why? Did you think I wanted to go to the beach?” Ye Moxuan asked and shot him a glance.
