After Ye Moxuan brought Little Bean into his room with him, they didn’t come out. The father and son stayed in the room, and nobody knew what they were doing inside.
Han Muzi thought about it before deciding to open the door. When she went in, she saw the two of them sitting on the carpeted floor while looking at each other. She figured she came in at the wrong time because the both of them weren’t speaking.
“What are you two doing?” Hearing her voice, Little Bean immediately got up and dashed toward her.
“Mommy!” As he was about to hug her thigh, he suddenly stopped when he got close to her.
Oh! When Little Bean stopped, he stared at Han Muzi in front of him while remembering what his daddy just told him.
“From now on, you can’t simply get close to your mommy.”
Hearing him, Little Bean asked unconvincingly right away, “Why?”
Bad daddy, not only does he treat mommy badly, now he’s actually forbidding me from getting close to mommy! he thought.
Ye Moxuan explained to him coldly, “Didn’t you hear what we said just now? Your mommy has a little baby inside her, so she can’t hold you like before, and you can’t just lunge at her. Do you understand?”
Little Bean was angry, but he couldn’t help but agree to his daddy’s words because he also heard what Song An just said. His mommy’s body really wasn’t in good shape, so he couldn’t keep on asking her to hold him like before. I’m so mad!
After thinking about it, Little Bean told Ye Moxuan, “I can’t simply go near mommy, so you also can’t, daddy. I’m just a kid, but you’re a big man. You can’t simply go near mommy too.”
Listening to him, Ye Moxuan instantly frowned. “I know what I’m doing.”

Just as the two of them got into a feisty argument because of it, Han Muzi opened the door. Hence, both of them immediately silenced themselves tacitly. After all, it was better not to let Han Muzi hear about the subject.
However, when seeing Han Muzi, Little Bean instinctively ran toward his mommy so that she could hold him. At the end, he suddenly thought of his conversation with his daddy just now when he got to her front.
In the meantime, Han Muzi looked at him strangely. “What is it?”
It was obvious that the little brat was preparing to hug her, but he stopped all of a sudden, which was strange to Han Muzi.
Little Bean then blinked his clear eyes and explained childishly, “Daddy just told me that you have a little baby in you, so I can’t simply go near you to avoid hurting the baby.”
Han Muzi was rendered speechless. Instinctively, she glanced at Ye Moxuan. I didn’t expect the two of them to talk about this in the room.
“It’s alright. As long as you don’t knock my belly, I’ll be fine.” Han Muzi reached out and caressed Little Bean’s head as she squatted down with a soft smile.
The next second, Little Bean shook his head with an innocent face while his eyes were filled with determination. “No, mommy. I’ve already made a deal with daddy. From now on, daddy and I won’t simply go near you.”
After being called out, Ye Moxuan felt a thump in his heart as he squinted his eyes with dangerous intent. When have I ever said that? Huh, this little brat is really sly.
Thinking about it, Ye Moxuan stood up straight away and hugged Little Bean. “Yes, we’ve made a deal.”
Little Bean was rendered speechless. Why did daddy suddenly admit it in front of mommy? Ah! Little Bean could guess immediately that his daddy definitely wouldn’t keep to his promise.
Just when he was about to say something, Han Muzi cut off his words. “Yan has cooked some noodles. Come out and have some. We’re going to rest later.”
“Alright.” Ye Moxuan smiled slightly while pinching Little Bean’s face. Then, he carried him out.
Little Bean couldn’t speak while being pinched by Ye Moxuan, so he could only stare at him while he murmured, “Bad daddy!”
Ye Moxuan quirked the corners of his lips and revealed a faint smile as his dark eyes were filled with prevalence. If the little brat wants to play with me, then I’ll show him who’s boss.
In the meantime, Little Bean crossed his hands in front of him and remained quiet. I’ll just let him win this round. Revenge is best served cold. I want to let daddy know that I’m not that easy to mess with.
Afterward, all of them sat down and ate their noodles.
It was Chinese New Year’s Eve, and everybody should gather together to have a feast, but due to multiple accidents, they could only settle with noodles.
Fortunately, Yan’s cooking skills were not bad. Even though it was just noodles, it was still delicious.
After the meal, Ye Moxuan swooped Little Bean straight into his arms. “It’s time for your bath.”
But I’m not done yet, Little Bean thought.
Seeing how close they were, Yan grabbed Han Muzi’s arm and gushed, “Muzi, I think the two of them are getting along with each other well. Why don’t you sleep with me tonight?”
After that, Yan pretended that she didn’t see Ye Moxuan’s sharp gaze as she tried to avoid it.
However, Han Muzi was numb to the situation and nodded. “Alright.”
Meanwhile, Xiao Su was sitting aside while pretending that he didn’t feel the commotion around as he quietly ate his portion.

Han Muzi lay on the bed, and her surroundings were quiet. She could only hear the breathing sound of Yan next to her. Then, she turned her head to look outside the window. It was also quiet out there.
At this moment, she should be sleeping, but… her heart was still thumping inside her body, one beat at a time. Today’s events quickly flashed through her mind, like a fast-forwarded movie.
Yan told Han Muzi that she wanted to sleep with her because she planned to talk a lot with her before she slept. She even said that she might not need to sleep tonight. Yet, in just a blink of an eye, Yan fell asleep.
How nice. Han Muzi also hoped that she could be like her, but her emotions were still stirred up.
Afterward, she rolled her body over and sat up. She suddenly felt thirsty, so she wanted to have some water.
When the idea came to mind, she got up and wore her shoes before tiptoeing her way out.
After she got out of the room, she gently closed the door. She didn’t open the lights in the living room while she navigated herself to the kitchen in the dark.
As soon as Han Muzi got into the kitchen, she used the dim light from the window to get herself a glass of warm water. Then, she took a few gulps.
Her stomach felt full when she almost finished the glass of water. After that, she placed the glass back to its original place before turning to leave.
Right at this moment, a huge shadow flashed in front of her all of a sudden.
Before she could react to it, the shadow came straight to engulf her before pulling her into its arms.
Later, a familiar breath poured all over her. Han Muzi was startled for a moment, and then she knew who was holding her.
Ye Moxuan… He… couldn’t sleep as well? At first, Han Muzi thought that she was the only one who couldn’t find any sleep. Therefore, she was surprised to see Ye Moxuan in the same situation as her. Why couldn’t he sleep? Was it because of the things that happened during the day? Did he find it hard to accept? Or was it because he was too excited after finding out that he has a son?
Thinking about it, Han Muzi lifted her head. “Why aren’t you—urgh—”
Just as she opened her mouth, her lips were violently sealed by someone in the dark.
