The arranged date venue was at a place unfamiliar to Han Muzi. Hence, Han Qing instructed Mr. Nan to drive her there. Upon arriving at their destination, Mr. Nan informed her, “Miss Muzi, I am driving back to the company to pick President Han up. I’ll come back later to pick you up.”
Han Muzi shook her head when she considered the trouble he had to go through for picking her up and driving in circles. “That’s unnecessary, Mr. Nan. You should go back first. I’m not even sure what time the blind date will end. I’ll take a cab later.”
In reality, she had a completely different thought. Mr. Nan might take a very long time before arriving here after picking Han Qing up.

The two of them had an agreement where they wouldn’t post Little Bean’s photos on any social media platforms.
She swiped through the photo one after another, and Han Muzi smiled subconsciously while gazing fondly at the pictures.
The afternoon warm sun shone bright on the main road, whereas the sun rays shone through the windows of the shop, casting a warm glow around Han Muzi. She lowered her head with a warm and tender smile, making the scene appear exceptionally peaceful.
Qin Yan saw her in that position when he entered the café, which made him stop dead in his tracks. He looked slightly startled, and his gaze was glued to her

Han Muzi looked up and met the person’s gaze.

Han Muzi glanced at her watch from the corner of her eyes discreetly. He’s 10 minutes late. Isn’t he going to apologize to me at all?
After ordering, Qin Yan still looked embarrassed when he regarded her. “Previously, I already had a feeling that it was fate that your car ran into mine. However, I never would have expected us to meet again so soon, and under such circumstances, no less.”
Han Muzi looked up. “Neither did I.”
“Ah-hem…” He was most probably feeling uncomfortable after the previous incident because he had a woman with him last time, after all. Hence, it was rather awkward for him to be on a blind date with Han Muzi now.

Han Muzi thought to herself, I would have considered it if the man was not bad.

She did not point out that he was late by 10 minutes because she had no intentions of getting to know this man better.
After their coffees were served, Qin Yan most probably felt that the warm-up time was sufficient because he started bombarding her with questions.
“Miss Han, what are your hobbies and favorite pastimes?”
Han Muzi gave a random answer, and Qin Yan immediately revealed that he liked the same thing. In fact, he even suggested that they do that together soon. Han Muzi did not respond to that, and so Qin Yan immediately asked her another question. However, her answers were casual and distracted at best.
After chatting for several moments, Qin Yan felt acutely that she had no interest in this arranged date. Hence, he felt rather defeated while gazing reluctantly at the pretty woman in front of him.
“Miss Han, are you so cold toward me due to what happened the other day?”
Han Muzi snapped back to her senses when she heard that. “What happened the other day?”
Qin Yan spoke hesitantly, “Well, the other day, when you rear-ended my car, there was a girl with me. Are you… bothered by her?”
Han Muzi responded with a polite smile. “Mr. Qin, you must be joking. Why would I be bothered?”
The more polite she was, the more annoyed Qin Yan felt. Since she claims that she’s not bothered, it would mean that she doesn’t care about today’s arranged date.
However, Qin Yan wanted to explain himself.
“I have to explain myself even if you are not bothered. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve misunderstood, but girl the other day is my younger sister.”

There was a rumble of chuckle nearby after Qin Yan’s explanation.
The voice was husky, and it sounded mocking as well. It made those who heard it inexplicably uncomfortable.
Qin Yan scowled automatically when he heard that. Who is that?
