Twenty minutes later, Xiao Su’s car finally arrived at Seabay Villa, but his car was stopped when they arrived at the door.
Xiao Su frowned as he waved at the guards, but they still didn’t let them pass.
Xiao Su couldn’t understand. He turned around and said to Shen Qi, “Wait here, Young Lady. I’ll go down and take a look.”
“Okay.” Shen Qi nodded and watched Xiao Su get down from the car.
Shen Qi couldn’t hear their conversation after the door was closed and could only see Xiao Su walking toward them as they had a conversation. However, Xiao Su suddenly turned around and took a glance at her after a while. His gaze looked complicated. He then turned around again and seemed to be arguing with the guards.
He didn’t come back after some time.
Shen Qi swallowed her saliva nervously and could guess what was going on.
She went silent for a while. She then pushed the door open and got off.
“Xiao Su, what’s going on?”
Xiao Su’s back straightened as he heard her voice. He quickly ran toward Shen Qi and assured her, “Young Lady, it’s nothing. I’m just talking to them.”
Shen Qi looked past his shoulder, and her gaze fell on the guards.
They knew her, yet they avoided her eyes when they saw her and didn’t dare to look at her. Seeing that, Shen Qi could confirm her guess. Her eyes flickered a little, and she asked indifferently, “He is not letting me in, is he?”
Hearing that, Xiao Su’s face turned dark and gave Shen Qi with a complicated look as he explained, “It’s not like that, Young Lady. Young Master Ye had been waiting for you for the entire night, and he must be outraged, so—”
“So, he is not letting me in, right?”
Shen Qi looked down and stared at her bleeding toes. “He doesn’t want to listen to my explanations?”
“Young Lady…”
“Xiao Su, since they are not letting me in, you can go in by yourself.”
“But you…”
“Please tell him that I’m waiting for him and that I want to see him. I have a lot to tell him. Please!”
“Okay. Wait here then, Young Lady. I will pass the message to Young Master Ye.”

Xiao Su glared at the guards to warn them before he left and drove his car in.
There were only a few guards and Shen Qi standing at the huge gate of Seabay Villa.
Shen Qi was standing quite far away, and she looked frail as she stood in the night breeze in her evening dress. Her smooth but fragile shoulder gave an illusion that she would collapse anytime soon.
One of them couldn’t bear the sight and said, “Young Lady, come in and wait. The wind is strong at night, and if you fall ill, Young Master Ye will put the blame on us.”
Hearing so, Shen Qi’s lips moved and looked at them.
Blame them? He is not even letting me in, so why would he care about me?
Thinking so, Shen Qi looked down again and didn’t speak anymore.
The guards couldn’t do anything about it. Shen Qi just stood there, and all they could do was to look at her.
It was obvious to them. Although Young Master Ye was mad at Shen Qi, the feelings he had for her were still there. After all, she was the first woman Young Master Ye brought back to Seabay Villa. It was usual for someone to become angrier if they liked the person very much.

She looked up and saw Xiao Su running toward her.

She had been standing in the cold wind in her sleeveless evening dress for a long time.

“What else can she say? I’ve waited for her for the entire night, and she never appeared, yet now she is pretending to look pity? Tell her that I won’t believe her words anymore.”
“Young Master Ye, but Young Lady…”
Xiao Su was about to tell him that Shen Qi was injured, but Ye Moxuan interrupted him in a cold voice. “Young Lady? Is she even worthy of that title?”
With that, he threw a document toward him.
“Hasn’t she been wanting this? Give it to her and make her leave.”
Xiao Su didn’t say a word. He picked up the document and took a look at it. He was shocked.

“Get out!”
Ye Moxuan bellowed.
Xiao Su was still standing there, yet Ye Moxuan got mad out of a sudden and pushed everything on the table onto the ground.

Xiao Su could feel his anger and knew he shouldn’t stay any longer. He quickly left with the document.
“The document in your hand, did he ask you to pass it to me?” Shen Qi saw the document and asked. She reached out and tried to take it.
“Young Lady!” Xiao Su’s face changed instantly as he took a step backward.
Although Young Master Ye made him hand it to her, he hadn’t made the decision whether or not he should give it to her. After all, Young Master Ye got too angry tonight, and people usually made irrational decisions when they were outraged.
