It would not be appropriate for Liang Yahe to continue asking since Jiang Xiaobai had already said so. Since Xiaobai had not sorted out her thoughts yet, it would be counterproductive if she kept forcing her to say something. In the end, Liang Yahe only nodded and patted Xiaobai’s shoulder. “Okay, then I won’t ask anymore. However, you can just throw a tantrum at Xiao Su if you can’t take it anymore. After Xiao Su got chased out of the room, he stayed outside the room and never left. He did not even try to eavesdrop on their conversation. When Liang Yahe opened the door and came out, Xiao Su immediately approached her. “Mom, how’s Xiaobai?”
Liang Yahe only scoffed at her son and did not bother replying to him after seeing his anxious response. She then walked straight to the living room. Xiao Su thought of entering the room since she did not respond to him. When his hand was about to reach the doorknob, Liang Yahe immediately turned around and shouted at him, “You, stop there!”
“Mom?”
“Go to the living room now. Xiaobai needs to rest. Do you want to go in and disturb her?”
Feeling helpless, Xiao Su could only retract his hand and follow her to the living room. “Is Xiaobai feeling ill? We’re nearing her expected delivery period. Should we move into a hospital instead?”
“Why do we need to go to the hospital? She’s fine and you want her to stay in the hospital? Are you nuts?”

“Why are you so anxious?” Liang Yahe scoffed lightly again. “Xiaobai only had a nightmare. I told you this just to warn you, as a mother, to treat Xiaobai well. It’s a blessing from your past life to have such a nice lady who is willing to marry you. You’ll be the one suffering if you don’t cherish her.”
“So, you’re just teaching me a lesson. You gave me a heart attack just now. I thought I made Xiaobai upset.” Xiao Su covered his chest and showed signs of relief.
Seeing him act this way, Liang Yahe wanted to give him a good beating! After telling him so much, he probably did not take her words to heart. She was extremely furious at him! “You little brat, be honest with me. How did you resolve the incident at the supermarket that day?”
“The incident at the supermarket?” Xiao Su was a little confused when she mentioned it. “Isn’t that in the past? Mom, why did you suddenly mention it?”
“In the past?” Liang Yahe sneered as she said, “Are you really that dumb? You left Xiaobai alone at the supermarket and did not even think of compensating her with something while simply letting the case off like that? Are you a dummy?”
Xiao Su twitched the corner of his lips. “Mom.”
“Xiaobai is giving birth soon, so you’d better not mess things up now. Quickly go and make her happy again. If anything happens to her, I won’t let you off easily!”
Although Xiao Su did not know what was going on, he seemed to understand something from Liang Yahe’s words. He was indeed at fault regarding the supermarket incident as he should not have left Xiaobai alone in the supermarket. The next day, Xiao Su went to buy a longevity lock for his child who would be born soon, and a pair of earrings from a famous brand for Jiang Xiaobai as a gift. Jiang Xiaobai had been moody since yesterday. Even after receiving the gift from him, her expression was neutral.
“I bought this for you and our child. Come take a look?”
Jiang Xiaobai took a look after receiving the gifts from him. “Do you think our child will be a boy or a girl?” She suddenly thought of asking the gender of their child, but Xiao Su was only able to react to it after a moment. He replied after a while, “It’s fine no matter what gender our child is. I’ll love them as long as they’re my child and you’re the mother.”

“If it’s a girl, then we’ll name her Xiao Rou. If it’s a boy, then let’s call him Xiao Wang. How does that sound?”
“You’ve even thought of names already?”
“Yes, I’ve been thinking about it this past two days.” Jiang Xiaobai nodded her head. “I just thought about it a little and I think the names are quite nice. What do you think?”
Xiao Su did not think much and nodded. “I think it’s good; let’s go with them.”
