On the first day, Yan did not go to Han Group. On the second day, she gathered her money, transferred them to Little Bean and asked him to pass it to his Uncle Qing.
Little Bean asked her in bewilderment on the spot, “Aunt Yan, did you owe Uncle Qing money?”
“Yeah, I owe him a lot of money. This is the savings that I have. I’ll return a little to him first and the rest later. Little Bean, can you return the money to him for me?”
Little Bean blinked, looking at the large amount of money. Even though it might be nothing worth mentioning to Han Qing, when Little Bean came to help Yan lately at the restaurant, he knew that it was not easy for her to earn money, so this amount of money might be all of her savings. Therefore, he did not accept the money and asked instead, “Aunt Yan, how much do you owe Uncle Qing? Do you need me to help you to return the money?”
“What?” Yan froze for a moment. “You would help me to return the money?”
Little Bean nodded seriously. The next second, when she was unable to control her laughter, she hugged his shoulder before reaching out to caress the back of his head and pinching his cheeks. “You silly boy. You are just a kid, so how are you going to help me to return the money?”
“I have money!”
“Even if you have money, you shouldn’t spend it so rashly. This is the money I have owed your Uncle Qing, so it has nothing to do with you. You shouldn’t bear this responsibility and you shouldn’t simply say so. Do you understand?” She continued to earnestly advise Little Bean, “I know that you are a good and understanding boy, but you shouldn’t simply say such words to anyone in the future. What if you come across someone who wants to cheat you out of your money? What will you do then?”
“Aunt Yan, you are silly. I won’t be cheated out of my money!”
Upon hearing that, Yan was stunned. Yeah, Little Bean is so smart, so how is it possible for him to be cheated out of his money? He said that to me because he thinks that I am important to him. Though she felt touched, she still rejected his offer. “All in all, you have nothing to do with this matter and I don’t intend to drag you into this as well, but I really don’t want to have anything to do with your Uncle Qing anymore. That’s why I have no choice but to ask you to help me to transfer the money to him. Can you please be a good boy and help me to return the money that I have transferred to you?”
Upon realizing the pain in Yan’s eyes when she talked to him, Little Bean pouted. “Aunt Yan, has something happened recently? What happened to you and Uncle Qing?”
“Why is a child like you asking so much about an adult’s matters? You won’t understand even if I were to tell you, so just be good and listen to me.”
Little Bean felt frustrated. Previously, he wanted to ask Han Qing about this, but the former lacked the courage to do so. After all, his Aunt Yan was more important to him than Han Qing. He preferred to lose Han Qing than to lose his Aunt Yan! After that, Little Bean did as instructed—he transferred 60,000 to Han Qing via WeChat and the latter replied with a message that only had a question mark upon receipt of the money.
Upon seeing that indifferent question mark, Little Bean snorted aloud and exited from WeChat, ignoring him. Han Qing waited for half a day but still hadn’t received a reply. Looking at the 60,000, he couldn’t figure out why Little Bean had suddenly transferred him such a large sum of money and intended to ask his sister, Han Muzi. However, she was now at the stage where she was expected to deliver at any time, so it would have been better for him not to disturb her. Therefore, he only gave Little Bean a call.
However, right after the call was connected, Little Bean hung up the call. The first call, second call… Little Bean had hung up on all of them. As Han Qing gently rubbed his finger on the screen, he pursed his thin lips. I think I know where this 60,000 came from.

Today, the business at the ramen restaurant was good, keeping Yan busy at all times. When it was finally less busy, she was able to have the time to sit down and have a cup of tea.
A young girl, who worked in the restaurant, sat in front of Yan and couldn’t resist the urge to ask, “Madam, I saw an extremely handsome man outside and he kept looking at you when you were busy just now.”
Upon hearing that, Yan was stunned for a moment. “What?” She thought that it was a customer, so she took a look outside without thinking too much.
“Isn’t he handsome? Madam, is he your boyfriend?”
Just a glance was enough to make her freeze. She quickly denied the suggestion when she heard the employee’s words. “No, he’s not my boyfriend.” How could he be my boyfriend? How could I, Zhou Xiaoyan, deserve to be Han Qing’s girlfriend? It’s impossible in this life.
Just when Yan mocked herself, Han Qing coincidently raised his eyes and looked at her. The two of them met each other’s eyes in mid-air, but Yan quickly moved her gaze before she got up and headed inside. “I’ll continue with my work. If that person comes in, you just tell him to go back. Our little restaurant doesn’t welcome him.” With that, she quickly headed inside, leaving behind the bewildered employee, who had no idea what had happened.
When Han Qing arrived, there were many people in the restaurant and the young lady was so busy that she hadn’t noticed him, so he kept waiting for her at one side. Now that they met each other’s eyes, she unexpectedly moved her gaze in the next second. Not only did she refuse to look at him, she even ran away. With his brows slightly furrowed and his thin lips tightly pressed, he refused to continue waiting and strode toward the restaurant.
Although the employee found the man before her very handsome, she still relied on the madam to pay her salary. Therefore, without forgetting what Yan had instructed her, the employee stepped forward upon seeing Han Qing entering the restaurant to stop him, saying bluntly, “Sir, I’m sorry, but our madam has asked me to tell you to go back. Our restaurant doesn’t welcome you.”
Han Qing was speechless.
Standing at a close distance, the employee finally realized that the man was more handsome than what she initially imagined. Oh my, this is such a good-looking man. Why doesn’t madam want to welcome him? When she was talking just now, she seemed to be sulking. Could it be that they are a couple?
Before Han Qing arrived, he had expected Yan to sulk, but not to such a serious stage. His brows, which were fixed in its position, were now deeply furrowed. Pressing his thin lips, he slowly uttered, “Please help me to tell her that it’s fine if she refuses to welcome me, but I’ll be waiting for her at the door.”
The employee nodded blankly. “Alright, I’ll let her know.” Then, the employee went inside and relayed Han Qing’s message to Yan. After hearing that, Yan frowned. “What did he say? He will be waiting for me at the door? He’s not planning to leave?”

Yan was utterly speechless. Why hadn’t I realized this side of him last time? Why is he waiting for me? He has already pushed me away and he seemed impatient, so why is he still here?
“Yan, who is that?” Luo Huimei asked curiously.
“Mom, it’s nobody. He is just an irrelevant person. Don’t mind him. Just let him wait for as long as he wants.” I’m not putting up with him! Though she had such thoughts in mind, knowing that Han Qing waited for her at the door made Yan feel uneasy as she worked. She felt as if there was a gaze that kept following her.
