“That’s not it, Great-Grandfather. The servants have been very nice to me, but I’m not cold.” Then, he hugged Yuchi Jin’s arm. “Great-Grandfather, I didn’t enter because I saw you were talking. So, I didn’t come in so as to not disturb you.”
“What a good boy.” Yuchi Jin was very pleased with how Little Bean was so understanding and considerate. After getting along with Little Bean, he had to admit that Muzi had brought up her kid very well. Despite his high status, he had met many spoiled brats. Even children of large enterprises would act well-behaved on the surface and greeted him politely, but their eyes revealed their impatience and abhorrence for it. On the other hand, some were dull and mechanical—like machines.
