“We were just having breakfast this morning like usual. If you look at those photos, it’s evident that someone intentionally took them from that angle. I can immediately retrieve the surveillance footage from the restaurant to show you.”
Upon realizing how troublesome it would be, Harmony shook her head and said, “Forget it, I believe you.”
“So, you’re not angry with me anymore?”
“Aren’t you supposed to be in meetings all day today? What are you doing here?” Harmony asked curiously. Ezekiel chuckled softly. “No meeting is more important than you. I’m not attending the meeting today. I want to stay here with you.”
“No need, filming is quite boring. You should go to your meeting,” Harmony declined. Moreover, how could she pretend to be in love with the male lead if he was on set?
Wait, would he be jealous if she had to shoot intimate scenes with the male lead?
“Ezekiel, would you feel uncomfortable when I shoot intimate scenes with the male lead?” Harmony asked in a soft voice. Considering his perspective, it seemed like she was also doing something that made him uncomfortable.
Ezekiel shook his head. “I trust you. This is just a part of your job. I know that the one you love is me, and it will only be me.”
Harmony didn’t know where his confidence came from, but he was right. No matter who she acted with in the future, the one she loved in her heart was him, and it had always been him.
Outside, Sera had been standing at the cafe door for a while. She was worried that Harmony and Ezekiel would start arguing. Looking through the glass window, it was evident that she was worrying for nothing. Harmony and Ezekiel were communicating well and were full of affection for each other.
In the hotel conference room, Miles had been chatting with the manager for a while, but he didn’t dare to call and urge the boss. The other managers also didn’t dare to ask the boss to come back for the meeting. Yuna, sitting next to him, was also wondering why Ezekiel didn’t return.
She picked up her phone again and scrolled for a while, but suddenly, she couldn’t find any news about her and Ezekiel. She looked at Miles. He had made a phone call earlier. Had he taken care of it just like that?
“The boss won’t be back for the meeting today. Everyone, get back to work,” Miles announced and left his seat.
On the other side, Harmony was already in position. It was a challenging scene where she had to run up and down a street four or five times. She was already exhausted, but fortunately, the last take was successful.
Ezekiel, standing in the blind spot of the camera, watched his hardworking girlfriend with a pang of concern, but he couldn’t do anything. When Sera wanted to go up and give her water, he took the cup and approached her himself.
Harmony was panting, her face flushed. She wanted to reach for the cup of water, but the man teased her. “Let me do it.”
Harmony had to tilt her head back slightly and let him feed her the water. She felt a bit shy. After all, there were so many extras and crew members around.
After Harmony had a few sips, she noticed a certain man’s gaze on the male lead. Harmony caught this and understood why Ezekiel had personally fed her water. He was asserting his dominance over other men.
Harmony finished filming early today. She hadn’t eaten properly during the shoot, and by the afternoon, she was famished.
“I’ll take you for a big meal. Ezekiel took her hand, and they got in the car.
Ezekiel was engrossed in his phone, seemingly working on some app. Harmony saw him concentrating and couldn’t help asking, “What are you doing?”
“Creating an account,” Ezekiel replied. After completing the registration, he took a picture of the night view outside and of the food on the table. Finally, he took a selfie with Harmony.
“You didn’t use a filter? Are you just using the camera on its own?” Harmony asked in horror.
Ezekiel nodded. “Yes, just the camera on its own.”
“No, no, let’s use my phone instead. I’ll capture the photo and send it to you, so you can post it on your social media, alright? Please.”
