An Understated Dominance Chapter 2337 by Marina Vittori

“You’re just a foolish moth drawn to the flame.” Sam sneered.

Even if Caleb pushed the Glow Incantation to its limit, he couldn’t withstand the thousand-talon coffer’s power.

The weapons within the coffer were not only immensely destructive but also carried various special attributes- wind, fire, thunder, lightning, ice, and different toxins.

Some of these explicitly targeted protection armor energy, which made it highly effective against the Glow Incantation.

Sam knew that Caleb wouldn’t be able to break through the assault with just his Glow Incantation. The only way to win was to exhaust Caleb.

As Caleb barrelled halfway, a storm of hidden weapons began to pour down. Before long, the onslaught completely engulfed him.

The battle ring was illuminated with bursts of light accompanied by continuous explosions, and energy waves surged like tidal waves.

“Stormcraft!”

Amidst the swirling dust and smoke, a blinding bolt of blue lightning erupted. The lightning spread rapidly and formed a net that struck out indiscriminately in all directions.

Hidden weapons caught in the lightning’s path fell from the sky, clattering like rain. While the lightning brought down many of the incoming attacks, more and fiercer projectiles continued to pummel the golden figure.

Each wave of attacks dimmed the golden light surrounding the figure. At this rate, Caleb’s shield would be gone within a minute.

“Heaven, Earth, Gale, Thunderstorm, Abyss, Inferno, Peak, Torrent!”

Suddenly, the golden figure waved his hands and sent out eight different- colored divine talismans.

These talismans spun rapidly, and a fierce wind began to whip up, sending sand and debris flying. The terrifying energy began to ripple through the air.

“Wow! Am I seeing this right? Is that really the Eight Trigrams of Divine Talisman?”

“Damn! How can someone so young use this technique? That’s insane!”

“Only the highest-ranked elders of Sacred Wrym Summit could master this secret technique. Could it be that Caleb has already mastered the Divine Talisman?”

“He’s a real talent. A phenomenal talent!”

The spectators were shocked as they watched the eight glowing figures spinning in the sky.

Achieving mastery of the Glow Incantation was already a monumental achievement as it required decades of rigorous training. The same went for Stormcraft.

Caleb mastered both techniques at an incredibly young age. This accomplishment had earned him the title of a once-in-a-century genius from Sacred Wyrm Summit.

But no one could have anticipated that he would also master the Divine Talisman. It was beyond belief.

At under 20 years old, having mastered all three of Sacred Wyrm Summit’s legendary techniques was nothing short of miraculous. Was he even human?

Even the renowned Ancient Sage, Arion, might not have reached this level in his prime. It was terrifying.

Alloy, Cyrus, and Penelope, seated in the main seats, were taken aback at that moment. At first, they thought Caleb was merely at a beginner stage in the Divine Talisman. They were shocked to discover he had mastered it to a remarkable degree.

Unlike the Glow Incantation and Stormcraft, the Divine Talisman required exceptional talent and understanding. Most disciples from Sacred Wrym Summit would struggle to learn it in their lifetimes.

Despite being under 20, Caleb had already mastered the Divine Talisman, the Glow Incantation, and Stormcraft. His skill was truly awe-inspiring.

Alloy, Cyrus, and Penelope exchanged concerned glances.

The Sacred Wrym Summit was a breeding ground for phenomenal talents-first Arion and now Caleb. The Sacred Wyrm Summit would become the dominant force for the next century.

“Eight Trigrams of Divine Talisman, huh? I don’t believe it can stop my thousand-talon coffer.” Sam’s expression shifted from shock to fierce determination as he prepared to go all out.

Although the Eight Trigrams of Divine Talisman was powerful, he had the Dawson Clan’s sacred artifact in his hands, which still offered a strong defense.

“Rising Tide!” Sam channeled his immense mental energy and slammed his hand onto the thousand-talon coffer.

The coffer began to shake violently. It emitted a blinding white light that spread and filled the battle ring. After the flash of light, all the fallen hidden weapons rose back into the air and continued their assault on Caleb.

The thousand-talon coffer’s advantage was its ability to control thousands of hidden weapons simultaneously. As long as the coffer remained intact, it could keep attacking indefinitely. No one could stop it.

“Advance, Combatants, Engage, Entirety, Form, Lines, March Forward!”

Surrounded by the golden light, Caleb rapidly formed a series of hand seals, thrust them outward, and shouted, ” Eight Trigrams of the Divine Talisman! Break!”

As the word “Break” echoed, eight divine talismans erupted in a blinding light before exploding with a thunderous boom.

The ground shook violently, and a fierce gale roared through the air. A massive surge of energy, as overwhelming as a landslide or tidal wave, swept across the battle ring.

It scattered the Dawson Clan’s hidden weapons and destroyed their controlling formations. Some of the less durable weapons even shattered into dust.

Sam, reeling from the mental shock, coughed up a mouthful of blood and staggered backward. Before he could recover, a streak of golden light closed in on him.

“Stormcraft!” Caleb pointed two fingers and tapped Sam’s chest.

Just as everyone expected Sam to be blasted away, Caleb’s blue lightning remained at his fingertips, and he didn’t deliver the fatal blow.

Sam looked down. His expression was a mix of surprise and resignation. After a moment, he sighed and said, “Thank you, Mr. Caleb, for showing mercy. I concede.”

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
