An Understated Dominance Chapter 2336 by Marina Vittori

“Oh my god! Sam has so many hidden weapons. This could wipe out an entire guild.”

“Is this the Dawson Clan’s sacred weapon? It’s terrifying.”

“Damn! Sam is going all out right from the start. He’s not holding back at all.”

The spectators stared in shock as countless hidden weapons hovered above the battle ring.

They thought the thousand-talon coffer was just a name, but they never expected it to contain over a thousand different weapons. The sight was overwhelming, and it was enough to make their skin crawl.

Even more alarming was that none of the weapons inside the thousand-talon coffer were ordinary. Each one could be considered a deadly weapon. If a typical martial artist got their hands on just one, it would be enough to make them famous.

But Sam had unleashed thousands of these deadly weapons all at once. Who could withstand that?

“Oh no! Caleb is in danger.” Aurora’s expression tensed as she watched from the stand.

She hadn’t expected the thousand- talon coffer to contain so many powerful weapons. If Sam unleashed them all at once, Caleb would be finished.

“If Sam hadn’t brought out the thousand-talon coffer, the fight might still be anyone’s game. But now that he has used it, Caleb doesn’t stand a chance,” Fenley said, shaking his head.

Even he knew he would have to go all out when facing the Dawson Clan’s sacred artifact.

“What a shame,” Alicia said, shaking her head regretfully.

She didn’t like Sam and hoped Caleb would win. But now, that hope seemed nearly impossible.

Suddenly, Alloy said, “Sage Foyer, your disciple is impressive for someone so young. He had even mastered the Divine Talisman. Unfortunately, he’s up against a tough opponent. If he doesn’t concede soon, he might be in danger.”

“I wouldn’t be so sure about that.” Before Kaden spoke, Cyrus interrupted with a sneer. “If he were one of your Celestial Alliance disciples, he would be as good as dead.

“But the Sacred Wrym Summit disciple is different. With the Glow Incantation for protection and Stormcraft and Divine Talismans backing it up, there’s still a chance he could win.”

Cyrus knew firsthand the terrifying power of Sacred Wrym Summit’s three great techniques.

Years ago, he was brimming with confidence in his swordsmanship skills. So, he wanted to challenge Arion for the world’s most extraordinary title.

Arion used the Glow Incantation and endured Cyrus’ attacks for half an hour without a scratch. Frustrated, he criticized Arion for being a coward who only knew how to defend himself.

Then, a single strike of Stormcraft left Cyrus severely injured, and he spent a month bedridden. Since then, he had given up any dreams of claiming the world’s most extraordinary title.

Of course, Caleb couldn’t be compared to Arion. However, the Sacred Wrym Summit techniques were formidable.

If Caleb honed the Glow Incantation and Stormcraft to their peak, he would be more than capable of defending himself.

Alloy said with a smirk, “The effectiveness of the Glow Incantation and Stormcraft depends on who uses them. Caleb is talented, but he’s still young and lacks experience.

“With Dawson Clan’s thousand-talon coffer, continuous attacks will quickly drain his internal energy. Without it, how can he use the Glow Incantation?”

The Glow Incantation was impressive, but the Dawson Clan’s hidden weapons had a knack for breaking through protection armor energy. A relentless barrage of these attacks could easily overwhelm Caleb.

“Hmph! There’s no point in arguing. Let’s see how this unfolds,” Cyrus said with a dismissive scoff. He wasn’t interested in further debate with Alloy.

As the two men bickered, Kaden smiled wryly and said nothing.

Sam raised his hand on the battle ring, and hundreds of hidden weapons floated into the air as they targeted Caleb.

“Here’s your chance,” Sam said coldly. “Surrender now, or these weapons will kill you on the spot.”

“Thanks for the warning, but I’d like to try my luck.” Caleb’s expression hardened as the golden light enveloped his body and strengthened his defenses.

“Your Glow Incantation won’t stop my hidden weapons. Are you trying to get yourself killed?” Sam frowned.

He didn’t want to make enemies with Sacred Wrym Summit. But if Caleb were going to be reckless, he wouldn’t hold back.

“Whether I live or die is up to fate. I’ll do my best,” Caleb said calmly, his gaze steady.

“Very well. Then, I won’t hold back.” Sam snorted as he gave no further warning. He raised his hand and unleashed a storm of hidden weapons at Caleb with a single motion.

Thousands of deadly projectiles erupted from all directions and poured down like a relentless torrent. The air was filled with the thunderous rush of the attack, as each weapon carried a sense of sheer terror.

The spectators below the ring gasped, and their eyes widened with disbelief at the overwhelming display.

The sight of thousands of weapons unleashed in such a coordinated assault was breathtaking. The force seemed capable of tearing the sky apart, which sent chills down everyone’s spines.

As the deadly barrage descended, Caleb didn’t advance but instead retreated. He transformed into a streak of gold light that barreled straight at Sam.1

Caleb had a strategy in mind- defeat Sam, and the onslaught of hidden weapons would be rendered useless.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
