An Understated Dominance Chapter 2282 by Marina Vittori

“Galactia!” Aurora advanced with her blade held firmly in both hands as she slashed horizontally.

Blinding flashes of blade light erupted and swept toward Crystal like a violent storm. The air whistled with the sheer power of her strikes, and the intensity was terrifying.

In contrast to her previous rapid and aggressive assaults, Aurora now revealed her ultimate technique-the Phoenix Dance.

A legendary female grandmaster created this superior blade technique a century ago. It melded powerful offense and defense with a touch of feminine elegance. It was beautiful and deadly.

“Vibro Slash!” Crystal stood firm and composed as the blade light surged toward her. She shook the longsword in her hand violently and thrust it out suddenly.

An expert observer would notice that her sword was vibrating intensely in a small, controlled manner. Though it appeared unremarkable, it concealed a profound mastery of swordsmanship.

With a series of metallic clashes, Crystal’s vibrating sword shattered Aurora’s blade light and struck her weapon directly.

Aurora’s assault momentarily faltered as her dual blades were pushed back. Undeterred, she swiftly retracted her blades and spun like a spinning top. She used her momentum to deliver a faster, stronger blow toward Crystal.

“Darkocto!” At that moment, Aurora’s blades turned black with faint water- like patterns rippling along their edges.

“Circulator Slash!” Crystal instantly parried with her sword. She leaned back sharply and dragged Aurora’s blades in a sweeping arc. She turned defense into offense using the momentum and stabbed Aurora again.

Seeing the imminent danger, Aurora decisively dropped her blades and retreated. She dodged the attack and swiftly retracted her dual blades by pulling the steel wires attached to their hilts.

“Flynn Spore!” Aurora spun around. Her dual blades flashed through the air like a machine gun. It sent a barrage of blade lights toward Crystal.

These streaks of light filled the sky. They bounced unpredictably and attacked from all angles, making them nearly impossible to defend against.

Crystal remained composed. She flicked her wrist and began to draw circles with her longsword. Her sword moved so swiftly that it created an impenetrable wall of afterimages.

Aurora’s strikes met Crystal’s sword shadows, and the spark ignited with each collision. Despite the intense offense and defense, neither could gain the upper hand.

But Aurora didn’t give up. Along with her dual blades, she continued to spin wildly and accelerate like a spinning top.

A torrent of blade lights surged toward Crystal with each rotation like a flood. Yet, she stayed calm and focused on defense. She waved her longsword continuously and conjured a shield- like illusion before her.

The sharp blade lights clashed against the shield. It only sparked off harmlessly without causing any major damage. Despite being purely on defense, Crystal remained composed, flawlessly protecting herself.

She understood that Aurora’s relentless attacks were powerful but draining. If their fight were prolonged, Aurora would inevitably exhaust herself.

“Ennea Chorus!”

Seeing no breakthrough in her attacks, Aurora suddenly leaped into the air and unleashed the ultimate move of her Phoenix Dance technique, Ennea Chorus. She crossed her dual blades before her chest and channeled her true energy into her weapon.

A resounding hum filled the air as her blades began to vibrate intensely. A brilliant red light burst forth and swiftly spread to cover a ten-yard radius, which enveloped herself.

The red light quickly transformed. It took the shape of a phoenix with astonishing power and a clear and vivid outline.

“Break!” Aurora shouted as she swung her crossed blades forward.

The phoenix on her body suddenly spread its wings over ten yards long, and with incredible speed, it crashed toward Crystal.

The phoenix was large, casting a shadow over everything. Crystal appeared tiny before it, as small as an ant. It seemed as if a gentle bump would be enough to crush her completely.

“What a terrifying blade technique! What horrifying power!”

“Oh my god! Is this the strength of the Celestial Alliance guildmaster’s daughter? Truly extraordinary.”

“This strike is approaching the level of a Grandmaster. The problem is, she’s not even 20 years old.”

“Oh no! The Sword Union’s beauty is going to lose.”

After Aurora unleashed Ennea Chorus, the entire arena erupted into uproar. No one had expected her to possess such incredible strength.

With this move, she was unmatched by anyone below the Grandmaster level.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
