Fortunately, Grace’s assistant, Osley, just happened to arrive with lots of supplements.
After a brief rest, they departed again. After three days, they finally made it out of the Deadlands in the afternoon of the third day. They were back at Dusthaven Village, where they had briefly stayed before.
They had been particularly cautious in the past three days. They tossed and turned in their sleep, worried about the possible dangers they might encounter on their journey,
They were finally relieved once they were back at Dusthaven Village.
“It’s getting late now, so we’ll stay here tonight. If you’re in a hurry to go somewhere else, please go ahead,” Grace at the village entrance. “Now, if you’ll excuse me.”
After that, she stayed at the inn she had reserved with her envoy team.
Since they had accomplished their mission, it was about time for their team members to go their separate ways.
All of them benefited from the journey, and each of them was loaded with plenty of treasure. Now, they would just leave each other alone and part ways.
“Dustin, I need to talk to you. Can we go somewhere else?”
Just as Dustin was about to leave, Sophia stopped him. She was looking particularly shy and coy. Anyone could tell what she was trying to say.
“I’m tired. Just say it here,” Dustin answered nonchalantly.
Frankly, he disliked her.
“Alright, then I’ll get straight to the point,” Sophia said with a sweet smile.
“Dustin, you’re talented and strong. The Harmony Sect needs someone like you. So, I just wanna know if you’re interested in joining us?
“If you do, I can assure you that you’ll be given the ultimate treatment in the sect. All your demands will be fulfilled!”
“Sorry, I’m not interested,” Dustin immediately refused.
He turned and prepared to take his leave.
“Wait!”
Sophia was obviously flustered. She blocked his way and smiled sheepishly as she continued, “Dustin, don’t be hasty. Let me finish, okay?”
She added, Most of the disciples at Harmony Sect are all women, and they’re all stunning. Some of them excel in the ways of the bedroom. I can assure you that you’ll live your life to the fullest if you join us.”
All the bystanders were leering at her words. They were envious.
It was known that the Harmony Sect mainly took in female disciples, and they had exceptionally high requirements for their appearance and talent.
The elites in the three major sects in the southwest would be proud of marrying a Harmony Sect disciple.
It was every man’s dream to join the Harmony Sect. Given Dustin’s strength, all the other disciples would be leering at him once he joined the sect. He wouldn’t have to worry about spending the night alone.
The thought of this was utterly thrilling.
Usually, it was hard for a man to reject a gorgeous woman. Sophia was certain any man wouldn’t turn down her offer when she hadn’t been beating around the bush.
“Are you done?” Dustin asked, his calm gaze bored into Sophia. He wasn’t losing his composure at all.
“Dustin, if you’re not satisfied with what I said, why don’t we spend some time talking again later tonight?”
Sophia drawled, flashing a suggestive smile at him.
She seemed coy as her face was painted with a shade of red. She wasn’t even beating around the bush-she was literally throwing the invitation at him.
“No need for that. I’m not interested in the Harmony Sect at all. Goodbye,” Dustin said with a stoic expression.
Without a trace of hesitation, he turned and took his leave. Not only was Sophia dumbfounded, but the bystanders were equally stunned.
She was well aware that her appearance was stunning. No man could refuse her once she talked to them in a honeyed tone and shot them several suggestive glances.
Yet, Dustin seemed like he hadn’t been paying attention to her since the beginning. He completely ignored her, and his expression had been stoic. Was he even a man?
