They weren’t confident about taking Dustin in a one-on-one battle. However, they were certain they could defeat him if they were to join forces.
“Hold it!” Right then, a group of people entered the dojo. Leading the group was a tall, white- haired elderly man. He was dressed in a suit and carried himself with an air of authority that had developed through the years.
There was a beautiful woman by his side. She possessed delicate facial features and an attractive figure. She carried herself elegantly like a queen.
The woman was none other than Natasha, who had arrived just in time.
“The audacity! Who are you people? How dare you intrude into Celestial Dojo?” one of the Fallons shouted angrily.
“Silence!” Dante paled as he delivered a harsh slap to the Fallon who had spoken out.
He then hurried up to the elderly man and bowed respectfully. “Greetings, Duke of Lachshire.”
“What? The Duke of Lachshire?”
The atmosphere shifted as realization dawned upon the crowd. The previously arrogant members of the Fallon family now appeared submissive as they lowered their heads in respect.
As the current Duke of the country, Simon’s status was exceptionally high, and held enormous power. He was far superior to many. Even Sir Fallon Senior had to show respect when meeting him.
“No need for such formalities. We’re not in Aylka,” Simon replied impassively.
“My Lord, may I be so bold as to inquire why you are here?” Dante asked nervously. Simon Ballard was known for keeping a low profile and seldom made public appearances. Naturally, his sudden appearance made others curious.
“Nothing much. I’m just here as an onlooker to the duel. Carry on, there’s no need to be bothered by me,” Simon stated emotionlessly.
“You’re here as an onlooker?” Dante’s expression stiffened, and he grew anxious.
Simon was a busy man. It was unusual for him to take time out to watch a duel. Moreover, why would he even be interested in a duel between young men?
Realization dawned on him when his gaze shifted to Natasha standing nearby. He almost forgot that Dustin was Natasha’s boy toy.
Simon couldn’t have personally come to back Dustin up, could he? It was ridiculous if he were here just to mediate a situation involving a mere boy toy.
“Sir Dante, I believed this was a pre- arranged duel. It seems inappropriate for your family to intimidate the opponent with numbers, don’t you think?” Natasha asked impassively.
“Well…” Dante appeared embarrassed.
“Ms. Harmon, this was just a misunderstanding. We were just joking around with Dustin!”
“That’s right, we were just joking.” The Fallons nodded in unison. Who would dare make a scene in the presence of the Duke of Lachshire?
“Hmph! That better be the case.” Natasha gave him a sidelong glance before walking up to Dustin.
“Dear, why didn’t you tell me you were coming here? What if something happened to you?”
“I forgot. It was a sudden decision,” Dustin explained, feeling slightly guilty.
“Besides, the Fallons can’t harm me.”
“That might be true, but it’s still risky that you came alone.” Natasha was upset.
“I promise not to do it again,” Dustin assured seriously.
“That’s more like it.” Natasha beamed.
She pulled Dustin by the arm and brought him to meet her grandfather.” Come, let me introduce you. This is my grandfather, a high-ranking official in Oakale.”
“Greetings, My Lord. My name is Dustin Rhys,” Dustin greeted Simon respectfully.
“Dustin Rhys?”
Simon observed him intently before asking, “You seem familiar. Have we met before?”
