An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori Chapter 1260
For a moment, his energy soared, and his powers instantly doubled. “Oh? A fight to the death, then?” Dustin raised his brows, surprised.
It was clear that the pill Tyler had taken must have been a secret pill that could greatly enhance his abilities quickly. But the price to pay for it was that it would deplete his potential and vitality.
He would not have taken it unless it was a life-or-death situation. “It’s Wildemor! What Tyler had taken was Wildemor!” someone from the crowd exclaimed.
“What? Wildemor? Isn’t it banned?”
“Wildemor can activate all the potential within a person and increase his powers by several folds. But it has adverse effects as well.
“Not only will it decrease his lifespan, he might even lose his mind!”
“Goodness! Does Tyler not cherish his own life? How could he have taken Wildemor?”
Seeing the significant shift in Tyler’s energy, the onlookers began whispering among themselves. Besides the initial shock, there was anticipation in the air, too.
“He’s putting his life on the line! Ty’s going all out now!” Arthur’s expression was grave. “With the aid of Wildemor, Ty’s power has increased several folds. He’ll be able to defeat Dustin!”
“That’s right! No matter how powerful Dustin might be, there is no way he could hold up against Ty now that Ty’s consumed the Wildemor!”
The Grants regained hope and confidence. Wildemor might be banned, but its miraculous effects would turn the table. The only downside was that Tyler’s lifespan would be greatly decreased. But evidently, this was a price they were all willing to pay for the entire family’s safety.
“I must admit that you’re extremely powerful, Dustin. But today will be the day you get a taste of defeat!”
Tyler’s eyes were bloodshot, and his clothes billowed behind him despite no wind. He gave out an intensely wild air to him. “Oh, is that so? I’d like to see what you’re capable of.”
There was no change in Dustin’s expression as he simply curled his finger to himself, beckoning for Tyler to come at him.
“Dustin! Even if you lose, you should feel honored that I took Wildemor just to go up against you!” Tyler let out a fierce roar before he pulled his sword from the ground and charged at Dustin again.
The sword let out a humming buzz before flashes of terrifying radiance burst out from the blade. The bright flashes were overwhelming, and like a raging storm, they shrouded over Dustin.
Wherever the radiance of the blade swept past, only destruction was left in its trace. It was simply unstoppable. Even the ground, made of hard rock, had deep marks.
It was so powerful that even the skies darkened. Gripped in fear, the onlookers felt death was at their doorsteps. “What a terrifying sword! There might not be anyone in the entire world who can survive it!”
“He might be Kirin, but he won’t make it out of this alive!” Everyone’s expression changed into shock and alarm when they saw Tyler’s sword.
The Grants were delighted as it appeared to them that victory was near. From their point of view, Dustin would never be able to endure an attack from Tyler’s sword, no matter how strong he was.
“I’ll kill you!” Tyler yelled at the top of his lungs, like a madman. He did not hold back at all.
“What petty skills.”
Dustin huffed. Without even ducking, he punched through the air straight at the oncoming sword. When the attacks collided, three explosive bangs were heard. On the first bang, the radiance of the sword was shattered.
On the second bang, the sword itself was broken. On the third bang, Tyler’s hand, with which he held the sword and his arm, exploded into bloody bits.
He was sent flying more than ten yards away. He was launched high into the air. Then he fell heavily to the ground like a battered punching bag. He bled uncontrollably from his arm.
“Is this all you’ve got? You can’t even go up against Adam Spanner if this is all you can do.
“How dare you challenge me with these little tricks of yours?” Dustin looked at Tyler in contempt.
