Chapter 821 Antagonize
Colin looked upset as well, but not because his lackey lost. He was upset because he was embarrassed right in front of the ladies, and he quickly went into the fray in a last-ditch attempt to save his dignity.
Kristoff didn’t lend a hand, nor did Kenneth. Both of them were looking at the man in black with concern.
Jared frowned as well. Even though the man in black was already showing a Top-Level Senior Grandmaster’s level of strength, he knew the man in black was still holding back. The guy might look young, but he must already be a Martial Arts Grandmaster. He might be even more powerful than Hayden, Empyrean Sect’s leader.
Demonic Cultivation raises a cultivator’s strength quickly, just like they said it would. Or there’s no way someone could be a Martial Arts Grandmaster at this age.
The man in black frowned. He wasn’t scared of the martial artists from Shadow Estate, but if the fight went on, everyone would find out that he was a Demonic Cultivator.
“Godd*mmit! This is the first time I’ve been embarrassed like this! Men, kill this b*stard and throw him into the sea!” Colin yelled angrily.
His lackeys quickly went into position, and their power levels started to rise. The man in black tried his best to keep his lethal intent in check, lest anyone find out about his real identity.
Just when the fight was about to begin, a young man in traditional clothes showed up, and a group of people in the same attire stood behind him.
There was a dragon embroidered on the left side of their clothes, so it was obvious that this group of people came from the Deragon family. “Trying to start a fight on the ship? Now that’s just discourteous.”
Godrick shot a look at Colin and the man in black before an invisible wave of pressure crashed over them.
Colin calmed down the moment Godrick showed up, and he waved at his lackeys, asking them to stop the fight. “Mr. Deragon, this guy injured one of my men. I think I am entitled to compensation at least,” he told Godrick.
“I saw what really happened.” Godrick looked at Colin, then he told the man in black, “You may leave now.”
The man in black quickly left the scene. He felt nervous when Godrick showed up, worried that the man might see through him.
Colin was displeased by the fact that Godrick let the man in black go, and a frown formed on his forehead. “Mr. Deragon, someone has insulted us, and you let him go just like that? Do you expect us, the Shadow Estate, to take this humiliation lying down?”
“You crossed him just to flirt with a few ladies. If you think you’re humiliated, feel free to take this matter to us.” Godrick shot Colin a glare, and Colin felt a chill run down his spine.
Knowing that he couldn’t get Godrick to side with him, Colin gritted his teeth and snorted. In the end, he and his men went back to their cabin, his desire to flirt long since ruined.
The Shadow Estate might be powerful, but not powerful enough to go up against the Deragons. The Deragon family was truly powerful, and they were big enough to snuff out any weaker entities.
After Colin went back to his cabin, Godrick looked at the ladies and told his men, “Get these ladies a room, and give them the card.”
“Yes, sir.”
Soon, the Deragons freed up a room and handed a card to Godrick.
“Ladies, you may come and see me if you need anything. My name is Godrick. If it’s fine with you, may we have some tea?” Godrick gave Josephine the key card.
“No, it is not fine with them.” Jared went and stood in front of Josephine before taking the key card from her. He then glanced at Godrick and left the place with the ladies without saying another word.
