Roshan, filled with rage, yelled at Jared, “What exactly are you trying to do?”
“All I wanted was for you guys to take me to that Beast City for a look, nothing more,” replied Jared.
“It’s impossible. If I were to take you to Beast City and the city lord found out, our families would be annihilated!” Roshan stated firmly.
“How would anyone possibly know? I carry the aura of the beast clan too, allowing me to blend in perfectly with all of you. If you don’t agree, then I’ll have no choice but to torment divine souls with demonic fire every day, making you wish you were better off dead,” Jared said helplessly.
“No, no…” the green-robed pleaded frantically with Jared. He then turned to Roshan and said, “Elder Roshan, please agree to it. Beast City is huge, with many lone cultivators around. They won’t discover his presence.”
“Elder Roshan, I think we should just agree to his request. If something goes wrong, we can always leave him outside the city. He can find his own way in then, can’t he?” Luigi suggested, freaking out as well.
Roshan glanced at the two, finally hesitating for a moment before saying, “Fine. We’ll take you to the city, but we can only leave you outside the city gates. From that point on, we’ll go our separate ways, as if we never knew each other. Also, Beast City has strict laws, so don’t expect to resort to violence within its walls. “No problem.” Jared nodded in agreement.

The green-robed man hastily clarified, “Calm down. We’re approaching Beast City. It’s just that you haven’t realized it yet.”
Subsequently, he threw Jared a meaningful glance, hinting to Jared to look in Roshan’s direction.
Jared followed the gaze of the green-robed man, his attention falling on Roshan. He then noticed that the latter was holding something that resembled a compass.
Inside, a tremoring needle could be seen. Yet Roshan kept moving in the direction it indicated.
“We’ve been traveling this illusionary realm all this while. Only the object Elder Roshan’s hand can lead us out. Without it, even we, the inhabitants of Beast City, cannot venture out of the city’s boundaries. That item was obtained from the city lord mansion at great expense by Elder Roshan. Without it, the three of us would never have been able to get out,” the green- robed man whispered to Jared.
From the way he was trying to curry favor with Jared, it was evident that he was terrified of death.
Jared gave a nod, continuing his flight alongside the trio for a while longer.
Soon, a flash of white light appeared before Jared’s eyes, followed by the sudden. emergence of a massive city.
Looking at the city before him, Jared was filled with astonishment.
He had seen quite a few cities in Ethereal Realm, including the imperial city of Allardland, but the city before him was many times larger than any other city he had ever visited.
Moreover, around the city, there were countless villages and towns of various sizes.
This place was like a small kingdom, its huge expanse was estimated to accommodate hundreds of thousands of cultivators, a sight that was simply beyond imagination.
Roshan looked at Jared and said, “This is Beast City. You’re on your own now!”
Jared nodded, then with a swift gesture, he returned the divine souls of the three individuals back to them.
