“How… How did you manage to get up here? How is this possible?”
Coall’s face was filled with astonishment, he incredulously asked.
“The arcane array was broken, so I came up!” Cyanna spoke the truth.
Upon hearing that the restrictive arcane array had been breached, Coall became incredibly thrilled, his aura suddenly surging.
Boom!
Coall was seen exuding an aura so powerful, it seemed as though it could destroy the heavens and the earth. This caused the entire tower to appear as if it were shaking. Following this, a beam of black light was seen shooting straight toward the fifth floor.
However, in the next moment, a sweeping surge of crimson energy overpowered and quelled the dark light in an instant.
With a roar of fury, Coall charged toward the fifth floor once again, only to face the same oppressive force. He was thrown back, crashing heavily onto the ground.
And so, after several attempts, Coall was continually suppressed, unable to reach the fifth level at all.
“Mr. Chance, what is this guy up to?” Cloud asked, quite confused.
Jared shook his head. “I don’t know. Has he lost his mind?”
Baffled, Cyanna stared at Coall, completely unsure of what he intended to do.
“Cyanna, did you dare to deceive me? Where has the arcane array been broken?”
Coall glared at Cyanna, feeling as though he had been deceived.
Upon hearing Coall’s words, everyone was momentarily speechless. This guy actually thought that once the arcane array was broken, he could just ascend the tower.
Cyanna was speechless as she said, “Coall, I mentioned that my level of arcane array was broken, not yours. You rushed in without asking clearly. Have you lost your mind?”
“You…” Coall was momentarily at a loss for words.
Jared and the others couldn’t help but feel a mix of amusement and bewilderment as they looked at Coall. They truly couldn’t figure out how this guy had managed to cultivate for ten thousand years.
With this level of intelligence, it seemed
completely mismatched with his actual abilities.
“Break through this restriction. I need to go to the tower…”
Coall spoke to Cyanna.
“I can’t break through…” Cyanna responded.
“D*mn, you’re still messing with me. You’re not
“I didn’t break the restriction spell. It was Mr. Chance who helped broke it,” Cyanna interjected, pointing at Jared before Coall could finish speaking.
She knew that Coall was not particularly bright, so she needed to make things clear.
At that moment, Coall finally noticed the presence of Jared and his companions. Initially, he completely ignored them.
After giving Jared and his group a quick once- over, Coall sneered, “Cyanna, are you trying to fool me? A mere kid who has only passed the Tribulator level, how could he possibly break the tower’s restriction spell? With just a flick of my finger, I could crush him. If I can’t break it, how could he possibly do it?”
Coall was clearly skeptical. He believed that Cyanna was deceiving him.
“Believe it or not, that’s up to you. I’ve already told you. If you plead with Mr. Chance right now, he might just be able to help you break through the restrictive arcane array,” Cyanna said impassively.
Upon sensing Cyanna’s tone, Coall glanced at Jared. He then beckoned and said, “Kid, help me break this arcane array, and I won’t kill you, but if you fail, I will obliterate your soul!”
Jared was taken aback, somewhat incredulous. Was this really the attitude of someone asking for a favor?
Upon hearing this, Cyanna felt the urge to curse out loud. What makes him think he’s entitled to ask for a favor in this manner?
“Haha, Coall! You’re such a dimwit. With that attitude of yours when asking for help, not even your own father would lift a finger for you.”
At that moment, a child’s voice surprisingly echoed from the fifth floor.
The voice carried a tone of mockery, causing Coall’s face to flush with embarrassment.
At that moment, Coall’s face was flushing a deep shade of red, then paling, then reddening again.
“You little rascal, once I get up to the fifth floor, I swear I’m going to give you a piece of my mind.
I’ll teach you a lesson you won’t forget, and then I’ll make sure you can’t spout your nonsense anymore,” Coall ran to the bottom of the stairs, looked up, and started yelling at the fifth floor.
“Hahaha, you can’t make it! You just can’t get up here. It’s driving you mad, you dumb*ss! Hehehe!”
The child’s voice taunted Coall.
