Carlo and the others were starting to buckle. Some of the spiritual light pierced through the shield, instantly striking the alchemists!
Very quickly, some of them began to suffer injuries or even meet gruesome deaths. Those who tried to flee were instantly pierced by countless rays of spiritual light the moment they left the shield.
Jared was frantic at this moment. Although the spiritual light from this formation couldn’t hurt him, if this continued, the Duad Formation Sect and the alchemists would likely face annihilation!
At that moment, the Vermilion Demon Lord spoke up. “Kid, want me to lend a hand? With an arcane array like this, I doubt your current abilities can break through it!”
“Mr. Vermilion, do you also understand array craft?” Jared asked curiously.
He hadn’t heard the Vermilion Demon Lord mention anything about knowing arcane arrays before.
“I don’t, but do I need to? Breaking an arcane array like this doesn’t require any special knowledge of formations.”

Jared pondered for a moment, then nodded. “Go ahead, I can take it. But Mr. Vermilion, take it easy. Don’t rush in recklessly. Hold back some of your strength!”
Despite having no choice but to take the gamble, Jared still warned the Vermilion Demon Lord.
If the Vermilion Demon Lord went berserk and unleashed the full power of a Demon Lord from the Heavenly Realm, Jared’s body definitely wouldn’t survive.
“Don’t worry. I still need you to help me collect bones. I won’t let your soul be scattered.”
As soon as the Vermilion Demon Lord finished speaking, he instantly took control of Jared’s physical body!
In the blink of an eye, Jared’s eyes turned pitch black, and the Golem Body that usually surrounded him slowly dissipated, replaced by a faint layer of black mist.
Shrouded in the black mist, Jared now resembled a bloodthirsty demon lord.
With a slight raise of his hand, a boundless demonic aura began to surge forth, spreading out before crashing forward!
Everyone was dumbfounded upon seeing Jared like this.
Especially Ventus, whose eyes widened as he exclaimed, “This guy is also a Demonic Cultivator? Then he definitely can’t be a prince of Allardland.”
Countless rays of spiritual light struck Jared’s body, yet he remained completely unresponsive.
The demonic aura that had surged out transformed into a massive fist that shot toward the sky!

The enormous demonic fist slammed into the arcane array.
The arcane array shook violently, and the spiritual light scattered in every direction, attacking aimlessly.
Even the members of the Sky Slasher Sect found themselves under attack by the spiritual light.
They had no choice but to use an array shield for protection.

Another deafening crash sounded as the arcane array shattered, countless array runes falling into the sea below.
“What? The arcane array was broken so easily?”
Ventus was losing his mind. This was the grand arcane array laid down by the past leaders of the Sky Slasher Sect over a millennium, meant to reverse the tides in times of crisis.
Before the tide even had a chance to turn, the arcane array had been shattered by a single punch!
Just moments ago, he had boasted that not even someone at the Top Level of the Ultimate Realm could break the formation. Yet Jared, merely a Sixth Level Tribulator, had done it!
Wyatt and the others were equally shocked as they stared at Jared. Suddenly, they noticed something strange-Jared’s aura had completely changed. He now felt utterly unfamiliar.
Especially Viola, who was intimately familiar with Jared, often sleeping beside him. The current Jared made her feel both terrified and estranged.
She was certain that this wasn’t the same Jared as before!
Jared looked at Ventus and the others, shouting coldly, “You ignorant fools! Dying at my hands is a blessing you’ve earned over ten lifetimes!”
Ventus stared back at Jared. He could tell that Jared had either been possessed by someone else or that his soul had been replaced by a demonic one!
