Upon hearing that Sinclair was from the Foster family, Jared felt a surge of irritation.
Imperial Fox City, once ruled by Catina, had been seized by the Foster family. Now, whenever Jared encountered anyone from the Foster family, he was filled with such loathing that he wished he could strike them down with a single blow.
“D*mn it. Get out!” Jared stepped forward and pulled Sinclair out.
“W-What are you going to do?” Sinclair asked, his expression tense.
“Did the Foster family join the Demon Seal Alliance and become their lapdogs? How dare the Fosters take over Imperial Fox City? Today, I’m going to vent my frustrations on you!” Jared bellowed, glaring fiercely at him.
“I-I swear, if you dare to lay a hand on me, the
Foster family will-” Before Sinclair could finish his sentence, Jared swiftly smacked him down with a forceful slap.
The impact was so powerful that it crushed Sinclair’s skull and brain, resulting in his absolute demise.
Upon witnessing this scene, every alchemist present drew in a sharp breath. What a ruthless and decisive man! He didn’t even give Sinclair a chance to finish his sentence!
“Mr. Chance, the people from the Sky Slasher Sect have arrived!” Carlo shouted from outside.
Hearing this, Jared and his companions rushed out of the dungeon to see a spirit ship rapidly approaching from the sea.
As the spirit ship drew closer, Ventus and the members of the Sky Slasher Sect sprang into action.
All the alchemists watched with grave expressions.
A wave of anxiety washed over the alchemists. After all, no one dared underestimate the prowess of the Sky Slasher Sect.
The disciples of the Sky Slasher Sect unleashed their energy, each radiating a murderous aura.
Dozens of cultivators in both the Tribulation and Ultimate Realm stages, all well-versed in array craft, were not something these alchemists could contend with!
Moreover, Wyatt and his group had just emerged from a battle, significantly draining their energy.

“Guys, try not to harm those alchemists. They will be important assets to our Sky Slasher Sect. But feel free to wipe out that young man and everyone from the Duad Formation Sect!” Ventus commanded the numerous disciples of the Sky Slasher Sect.
To Ventus, as long as they could eliminate Jared and the members of the Duad Formation Sect, the remaining alchemists would no longer pose a threat to them.
Wyatt looked up at the menacing disciples of the Sky Slasher Sect, each radiating an aura of deadly intent. He bellowed, “Prepare for battle and swallow your pills!”
One by one, the alchemists retrieved the medicinal pills they had on hand and swallowed them.
The pills were designed to expedite their recovery and replenish their energy.
If the Sky Slasher Sect had captured them, they would have taken the pills anyway. Therefore, it was better for the alchemists to consume them now.
After the alchemists ingested the pills, their energy surged at a lightning-fast pace!
Ventus knitted his brows and waved his hand. “Charge!”
The numerous disciples of the Sky Slasher Sect launched their attacks against the island’s defensive formation!
For a fleeting moment, the earth quaked beneath them, and the sky erupted with ominous crackles of energy.
The island swayed back and forth, teetering on the brink of chaos.
“Mr. Chance, I’m afraid this defensive formation won’t hold up for much longer!” Carlo turned to Jared.
The defensive formation couldn’t withstand the enemy for long, as it had been hastily erected.
If Jared had been given a month, he could have reinforced the defenses to make them as solid as a fortress!
Jared glanced at the multitude of alchemists busy consuming pills to restore their energy. He then said, “Try to buy as much time as possible. We need to give these alchemists more time to prepare!”
