A Man Like None Other Chapter 4258

The fact that Jared had taken over the island left everyone deeply astounded. Jared slowly extended his hand, quickly encountering a slight resistance. Immediately after, the array began to flicker, sending a surge of power rushing toward him.

Suddenly, a burst of golden light erupted from Jared’s palm, causing the dungeon’s array to collapse in an instant.

It shattered like an eggshell, with fragments scattering across the ground before dissipating into nothingness.

With the formation broken, figures like Ernesto sprang into action with tremendous force.

The dungeon door was immediately smashed open; without the protection of the array, there was no way this ordinary prison door could withstand the likes of Ernesto and his crew.

“Thank you for your timely rescue, Mr. Chance. We were naive and deceived by Thaddeus. We promise never to make such foolish decisions again. From now on, we will follow your lead, Mr. Chance,” Ernesto, the head of the Boucher family, said, bowing respectfully, hoping to win Jared’s favor with his ingratiating words.

Jared was so accustomed to such flattery that he barely paid it any mind.

“Mr. Chance, what should we do with Thaddeus?” Wyatt asked, pointing toward the barely conscious Thaddeus, who was covered in injuries and filled with desperation.

“Don’t kill me! Please spare me! I beg you!” Thaddeus pleaded, his eyes brimming with fear. At that moment, all he wanted was to stay alive; the ambition of dominating the medical world

had lost its appeal.

However, Thaddeus’ fate lay entirely in Jared’s hands.

“When you were scheming against your people, did you ever consider giving them a break?” Jared’s gaze was icy cold.

He felt no pity when dealing with someone like Thaddeus.

With a gentle wave of his hand, he cast a wisp of extreme fire onto Thaddeus’ body.

Screams of agony erupted from Thaddeus, the sound unnervingly piercing.

The sight sent a shockwave through the alchemists, who involuntarily jolted back in disbelief.

This was exactly the effect Jared aimed for. He needed to intimidate these alchemists; otherwise, their loyalty would waver like grass in the wind. If they were to turn against him during the impending battle with Ventus and his crew, they would be in grave danger.

Under the gaze of the crowd, Thaddeus was incinerated into ashes. Throughout the ordeal, Jared’s expression remained eerily cold.

“Let’s go. Ventus and his group will be back soon, and a fierce battle is about to begin,” Jared remarked slowly.

Suddenly, Ernesto stepped in and said, “Mr. Chance, there’s one more person we need to deal with!”

“Who?” Jared was momentarily taken aback.

He believed that since everything had been orchestrated by Thaddeus, eliminating him would resolve the issue. Little did he know that there were others who needed to be taken down!

“It’s Sinclair. He’s the one who devised the plan that led you all into the storm-prone sea. He was also the one who brought us here, resulting in our capture by the Sky Slasher Sect. Sinclair has already become a part of the Sky Slasher Sect…” Ernesto explained urgently.

Hurrying, Ernesto led Jared and the others deeper into the dungeon. At the very end of the prison, they found Sinclair.

“Ernesto, what on earth are you babbling about? I stood against you for exploiting our people, and you all ostracized me. How can you pin all the blame on me?” Desperate to bluff his way through, Sinclair quickly conjured up excuses.

Upon hearing Sinclair’s words, numerous alchemists began to reproach him, some even hurling insults. Yet, at that moment, Sinclair appeared extremely aggrieved and patient.

Jared was left utterly bewildered about who this man really was.

Sinclair was merely a Ninth-Level Tribulator, and he lacked any notable skills.

That was why, during their journey to Medicine God Island, Jared had not paid any attention to him.

“Sinclair, you’ve been away from the Foster family for years. I never thought I’d find you here!” Winona suddenly emerged from the crowd, addressing Sinclair.

Upon seeing Winona, Sinclair’s expression instantly soured.

“Winona, you know this guy?” Jared asked, his tone laced with confusion.
