She swung her sword, beheading those severely injured Skywolf Sect members. Their heads soared into the sky before dropping to the ground.
In the Ethereal Realm, no one showed mercy, and kindness was a rare commodity. Every moment in the Ethereal Realm seemed like a reenactment of the story “The Farmer and the Viper.”
Gratitude was a concept unfamiliar to many, especially in the face of absolute interests. Having slain the members of the Skywolf Sect, Rosetta felt a sense of relief as she exhaled out loud. Jared urged, “Let’s go. I’m afraid someone will come soon.”
Right after Jared and Rosetta departed, a swirling black mist approached, transforming into a massive hand that ripped the void open.
Following that, an aura surged forth before a figure walked out slowly from the void. That figure was none other than Pablo, who had come here after hearing the explosion. By his side was Dimas, looking visibly pale.
After Dimas escaped using the Blood Escape Technique, his cultivation level directly dropped to the Third Level of Tribulator. His aura had weakened significantly, and he resembled someone who was severely ill.
“Mr. Quimar, the explosion sounded like something powerful blew up. What could be that terrifying?” Dimas inquired.
Pablo remained silent, surveying the chaotic scene and the scattered, broken weapons. The weapons were already damaged in the first place, so the explosion had rendered many of them utterly useless.
“Check those corpses. See who they are,” Pablo instructed Dimas after seeing the bodies. Dimas nodded and examined the bodies. By studying their clothing, he identified the dead people.
He carefully reported, “Mr. Quimar, they are from Skywolf Sect. Some were killed by the impact of the explosion as their internal organs were shattered. Others had their heads severed.”
Glancing at the dead people, Pablo observed the scene and slowly closed his eyes. He swept his hand across his forehead gently.
A radiant light emanated from Pablo’s forehead, revealing an additional eye.
Witnessing this, Dimas swallowed nervously.
The eye on Pablo’s forehead began to blink, and the world swiftly turned grey in Pablo’s eyes.
In this grayish world, everything that had just occurred left residual images.
“Nethersky Eye?”
Dimas was dumbfounded. The Nethersky Eye was a forbidden technique of the demons and had been lost for ages. Dimas couldn’t fathom how Pablo possessed it.
Nonetheless, Dimas had made up his mind to follow Pablo closely and serve him well.
Perhaps, after the closure of the Celestial Battlefield, Pablo could help him recover.
After a moment, the eye on Pablo’s forehead slowly disappeared, and he slowly opened his eyes.
“So, it was done by that Jared guy. He has struck gold. I wonder what magical items he obtained and stashed away before making his escape,” Pablo said coldly.
“Jared did this?” Dimas was surprised. “Mr. Quimar, what exactly is Jared’s cultivation level? How could he kill so many members of Skywolf Sect?”
“I couldn’t see the process of their fight. However, Rosetta was the one who beheaded those cultivators,” Pablo explained. “It seems I need to enhance the power of the Nethersky Eye quickly. The time I can observe is still too short.”
Pablo furrowed his brow slightly. If only his Nethersky Eye were more powerful, he could have witnessed the details of Jared and the others’ battle, thereby unraveling the secrets of Jared’s victory over the Skywolf Sect members.
“What should we do next?” Dimas asked.
“Go after him, of course. We have to catch up to him. He must be hiding other secrets!”
With that, he led Dimas in the direction where Jared and Rosetta had disappeared.
Meanwhile, Jared and Rosetta were running as fast as they could, fully aware that danger lurked behind them.
