It was George—the man who took her to the bar and lied to her. When she thought of the time she was given a hard time by the Caucasian man and how George only stood aside while looking on stupidly, Han Muzi was so angry that she turned around immediately upon seeing George.
“Hey, don’t go.” George quickly went forward to stop her with a pleasing smile on his face. “You’re not still angry with me for what happened last night, are you?”
Han Muzi remained silent. He had done such an awful thing, but when those words came out from his mouth, it sounded as if something was going on between them. After noticing the looks of people around them, she frowned and scolded directly, “What are you on about?”
George just realized that everyone around was looking at them, so he coughed softly while lowering down his volume. “I’ve realized my mistakes, so I came here to apologize to you as soon as possible.”
Pursing her pinkish lips, she replied coldly, “No need for that.” Then, she walked directly past George and toward the cafeteria.
At that moment, someone with a petite figure ran toward her while waving her arms. “Muzi, wait for me.”
George found the voice to be familiar and looked in the direction where it sounded. Then, he saw a figure approaching closer. Hey, isn’t this the little beauty I met in the elevator that day?
“Muzi.” After Rory ran over, she immediately took Han Muzi’s hand intimately.
Han Muzi was a little helpless as she found that Rory was someone who would get close to strangers easily. Even though she did not like Rory, but… she did not dislike her behavior, so she just let her be. She then nodded at Rory. “Yes. Let’s go eat.”
“Okay,” Rory answered happily, unaware of George’s presence.
As he was used to being the center of attention no matter where he went due to his good looks, George was slightly disappointed. He did not think that the two girls in front of him would ignore him like this. One was even unaware of his presence. It was like he was invisible when he stood with them. Han Muzi and Rory walked toward the cafeteria together. “That’s right.” George gave her a huge smile. “Aren’t you with Yuchi Shen? That would make you my sister-in-law. ”

George looked at Han Muzi’s serious expression and scratched the back of his head, feeling doubtful. “No? Last night… didn’t Yuchi Shen come to rescue you?”
Rory felt like she was overloaded with information as she stood beside them. She did not dare to interrupt their conversation, so she could only stand there obediently and listen to them.

The look in her eyes made George very uncomfortable. He bit his lip in annoyance and scratched his scalp harder. “I didn’t mean it. I wanted to save you, but Yuchi Shen arrived just in time… Though, I do admit that I brought you there last night on purpose. However, I already knew that Yuchi would be there. I just didn’t expect the Caucasian man to have the guts to do this to Yuchi Shen’s woman—” His voice was loud, attracting other people’s attention. Immediately, they started whispering to each other.
Han Muzi interrupted him, “Are you done? Get lost if you’re done. It’s our lunch break now. I’ve worked all morning and I need to rest.”
George saw that her eyes were bloodshot and that her face did not look good. Could it be because of what happened last night? He felt bad after thinking about that, so he nodded and replied, “Okay, you guys enjoy your meal. I won’t disturb you any longer.” He would continue to beg her for forgiveness after she had eaten and rested.
After George stopped pestering them, Han Muzi and Rory both arrived at the cafeteria with no further disruptions. After ordering their meals, the two got to their seats and sat down. Rory bit down on her chopsticks and nosily started questioning her, “About that… Muzi, can we gossip for a while?”
Raising her eyes to look at her, Han Muzi stopped moving her hand completely.
Immediately, Rory waved her hand and said, “Uh, if you don’t want to talk about it, then it’s okay. Just take it as if I didn’t say anything.”

“No, I’m not,” said Han Muzi, shaking her head and denying it. How was she considered to be dating Ye Moxuan? They were almost going to get married. It was just that he did not make it that day. It was just fate playing tricks on them.
Not dating? Curious, Rory had a feeling as if she had just heard incredible news and quickly stretched out her hand to cover her mouth before eventually letting go. “Rest assured, Muzi. I’m Chinese just like you. I’ll safeguard your secret.”
Looking at Rory, Han Muzi was torn between laughter and tears. “Come on, just act as if you don’t know anything.”
“Yeah, I didn’t see or hear anything today. Don’t worry.”
George, on the other hand, went directly to Ye Moxuan after suffering a loss on Han Muzi’s side.
