When Aiden’s sword struck, the entire void erupted in a deafening roar. The massive arena trembled in response, and waves of energy dispersed in all directions. Even the arcane array surrounding the arena couldn’t help but warp under the immense force.
The crowd was taken aback, with many hastily stepping back. They feared that if the arcane array couldn’t withstand it, the scattered aftermath might bring disaster upon many of the cultivators.
When the shockwave had finally dissipated, and everyone’s attention returned to the stage, they were surprised to find that Jared was still standing in the same spot, unmoved and holding Dragonslayer Sword in the same posture.
Even the expression on his face remained utterly unchanged as if nothing had happened at all.
It seemed as though Aiden hadn’t struck Jared with his sword at all.
The formidable sword light hadn’t even reached Jared’s face before it completely dissipated and vanished without a trace.
“H-How could this be possible?”
Witnessing that spectacle, the numerous cultivators were inevitably shocked. After all, Aiden was an Ultimate Realm Level One cultivator, while Jared was merely a Seventh Level Tribulator. Even if Jared could punch above his weight, that was simply too outrageous.
When facing Jared, Aiden’s Ultimate Realm Level One cultivation level appeared worthless.
“Has Mr. Chance really grown to be this powerful? Even an Ultimate Realm Level One cultivator couldn’t harm him.” Nieva gazed at Jared’s figure, her heart fluttering.
After all, Jared was still the one who needed her protection just a month ago.
However, in just a short span of a month, Jared’s strength had become unfathomable. Even Nieva was no longer a match for him.
This stirred some excitement within Nieva’s heart. Had it not been for the dignity of her position, she might have already thrown herself into Jared’s arms.

Not to mention, that had all happened without Jared retaliating. If things continued progressing that way, Terence didn’t dare to imagine if Aiden could survive.

In the arena, Aiden was gritting his teeth, glaring at Jared. His initial full-blown confidence had long since evaporated.
A subtle smile played at the corners of Jared’s mouth, and a faint spiritual energy radiating from his body slowly expanded, causing the surrounding space to ripple, growing increasingly intense.
As he activated Golem Body, golden scales began to cover his entire body.
Although True Fire Spiritual Body was quite handy, Jared couldn’t possibly rely on its power all the time. After all, True Fire Spiritual Body had not yet reached a state of complete solidity.
Aiden’s two recent attacks had dealt a significant blow to True Fire Spiritual Body. It was just that Jared appeared completely fine and unscathed to everyone else.
