The moment the latter made his move, the sky was engulfed in flames.
Murmuring incantations under his breath, Ventus swiftly traced an intricate array rune in the air with both hands. Moments later, an array shield materialized in front of him.
As the leader of Sky Slasher Sect, Ventus’ mastery over arcane arrays was unparalleled. He handled them with exceptional skill and ease.
The surging flames were consequently blocked by the shield in front of him.
However, the immense force forced Ventus to backpedal in retreat.
“Dissipate!”
Ventus let out a loud yell, and the array shield in front of him exploded in an instant. Along with the flames, they scattered across the sky, disappearing without a trace.
“Kid, for someone who’s just a Sixth Level Tribulator, you’ve shown strength comparable to on in Ultimate Realm. You really are a rare prodigy. If it were in the past, I might have respectfully let you leave. But now, no matter how capable you are, that’s not going to happen!”
After Ventus finished speaking, a surge of red light flickered in his eyes.
As the glint in Ventus’ eyes flickered, the entire sea surrounding the small island surprisingly began to rage tumultuously.
The waves churned wildly, as countless demon beasts leaped out from the sea, each scrambling to escape.
Glimmering array runes could be seen, slowly rising from the depths of the ocean.
Countless array runes filled the sea for miles around, completely enveloping the small island within them.
In response, Jared’s brows furrowed.
Such an extensive arcane array must have taken years to be set up in advance. This must be Sky Slasher Sect’s trump card. They must have set this arcane array up deep in the ocean long ago!
Seeing the sudden rise of the arcane array, Wyatt and Carlo were completely taken aback.
The disciples of Sky Slasher Sect, on the other hand, couldn’t help but smirk. They instantly withdrew from the battle, leaping into mid-air in a blink of an eye.

“Initially, I planned to capture those alchemists alive, but it seems like you’re all determined to resist till the end. Well then, prepare to meet your doom!”
Upon seeing the grand formation was complete, Ventus grew smug.
As Ventus waved his hand, an array rune emerged and the formation began to activate.
Suddenly, streaks of spiritual light were shooting across the sky, over the sea, and even over the small island, akin to a dense flurry of arrows being released.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
Countless beams of spiritual light surged toward Wyatt and his group, each carrying an aura of terror.
At this point, Wyatt and his group thoroughly panicked. With such an intense barrage of spiritual light, how on earth are we supposed to dodge them?
Upon seeing the situation, Jared quickly ordered Carlo, “Hurry up and set up the defensive shield…”
Wyatt and his fellow alchemist simply couldn’t withstand these spiritual lights. Therefore, they had no choice but to let Carlo, along with the members of the Duad Formation Sect, set up a defensive shield for protection.
In a rush, Carlo and his men quickly set up a shield around the group, warding off the spiritual light.
Bursts of spiritual light hit the shield, and Carlo, along with his fellow disciples from the Duad Formation Sect, displayed expressions of extreme agony.
It seemed like they simply couldn’t hold on for much longer.
Jared wanted to go help, but countless spiritual lights were also raining down on him.
“Ha-ha-ha, don’t waste your energy. This formation is something the successive leaders of Sky Slasher Sect had spent a thousand years setting up. Your resistance is simply futile.
