“That’s right!” Archibald nodded in agreement.
Ventus furrowed his brows tightly as he murmured to himself, “Array master… Array master…”
Suddenly, Ventus’ eyes widened, his expression turning furious. “I get it now. It must be those people from Duad Formation Sect. The spirit ship they are sailing is none other than Mr. Lund’s. Without a doubt, alchemists are hidden within the cabin. Only when this group came together could they inflict such significant harm on Mr. Lund and the others!”
Upon hearing Ventus’ words, everyone else also regained their senses.
“No wonder I felt something was off. That so- called prince from Allardland… That guy’s strength is not to be underestimated. He could actually deal with Mr. Lund. We were all fooled. Just now, they stopped me from inspecting the cabin…” Archibald said.

In order to prevent Thaddeus and others from escaping, Sinclair had them all locked up in the dungeon.
The dungeon was surrounded by several arcane arrays. Even without guards, people like Thaddeus couldn’t possibly escape.
With a cold laugh, Sinclair responded, “President Surrey, what’s the point of scolding me now? You might as well save your energy. Otherwise, if you fail or waste resources while refining pills, you’re going to be in a world of pain.”
“Mr. Sinclair, I promise to behave. Can you please let me out? I promise I won’t run away!” Ernesto knew that once they were locked up, there would be no chance of escape.
After all, they were just alchemists. None of them understood the intricacies of arcane arrays.
All they could do then was to beg for mercy, just so they wouldn’t have to suffer too much.
“You better sit tight in the dungeon, too. Once we find the remaining alchemists and Jared’s body, you all will have to start working!”
With a hearty laugh, Sinclair walked out of the dungeon.
At that moment, numerous alchemists within the dungeon began to cast blame on Thaddeus.
