In his mind, Jared was deep in thought, subsequently allowing his spiritual sense to expand.

However, all of this was detected by Jared’s keen awareness. He observed the demon beasts’ bodies on the sea surface. These people merely fished out a few and then left. It was clear that they were not here for the demon beast corpses.
Jared retreated his spiritual sense and then waved at Wyatt and Hartwin.
“Mr. Chance, what’s wrong?” Wyatt asked.
“Mr. Chance, Mr. Bellamy, let’s discuss this inside the cabin.”
Jared led the two into a cabin, subsequently setting up a cloaking formation to ensure their conversation remained unheard by others.
“What’s going on? Why are you being secretive like that? Did you find something?” Wyatt asked.
“Indeed. I had a feeling that the people on that spirit ship weren’t simple. They didn’t seem like they were here to salvage the bodies of demon beasts. It was more like they were after us,” Jared said.
“How could it be? How on earth would they know we were trapped here?” Hartwin asked, confused by Jared’s remark.
“I can’t quite explain it right now, but something about these people just doesn’t feel right. Moreover, this spirit ship was set with numerous arcane arrays. These arcane arrays were intricate and sophisticated, clearly the work of an array expert,” Jared added.
“What’s so surprising about that? Perhaps among them, there are those who are skilled in arcane arrays. After all, many Demonic Cultivators are well-versed in this practice,” Wyatt countered.
“Exactly, it wouldn’t be surprising if someone among them is well-versed in arcane arrays,” Hartwin chimed in.
“Anyway, it’s best for us to be careful,” he advised. “Everyone needs to stay alert.”
At that time, Jared didn’t have any concrete evidence to prove that these people were specifically targeting them. Therefore, he couldn’t afford to fall out with them based on mere assumptions.
If the feelings were wrong, wouldn’t it be to disregard one’s goodwill as malice?
“Okay, I’ll tell everyone to be careful,” Wyatt nodded and said.
After giving everyone their instructions, Jared, along with Wyatt and Hartwin, headed toward the deck.
They absolutely had to see for themselves just how many demon beast carcasses these people had managed to salvage.
However, as the three of them reached the cabin door, they were still stopped by two cultivators.
“Now that we’ve left the storm-prone sea area, there’s no danger anymore. Why won’t they let us on deck?”
“You guys don’t have any ulterior motives, do you? Is that why you’re trying to stop us?”
Wyatt addressed the two cultivators who were obstructing him, questioning them!

Arnold arrived, loudly berating the two cultivators.
“Mr. Lund, they insisted on going to the deck. We tried to stop them, and that’s when the conflict started!” a cultivator explained.
“Mr. Lund, even though we’re deeply grateful for your rescue, you can’t possibly restrict our personal freedom, can you?”
“We just wanted to get some fresh air on the deck. Why are we being stopped?” Wyatt asked with great dissatisfaction.
