Fierce flashes of light continuously flickered within the dark clouds, like countless serpents dancing in the air. The once calm sea seemed to be drawn by this force, as massive waves suddenly surged up.
The waves churned like a tsunami, violently rocking the spirit ship. Everyone on board struggled to keep their balance, swaying and stumbling.
Amidst the crashing waves, countless demon beasts emerged from the depths, seemingly terrified. They leaped from the ocean and frantically raced away, cutting through the waves.
Flying demon beasts, too, screeched in panic as they soared into the distance, only to be struck by lightning and fall to the sea below.
In a short time, the sea was littered with the corpses of these demon beasts, painting a scene of sheer horror.
The sight left everyone aboard utterly petrified.
These bolts of lightning were on par with the lightning tribulation cultivators faced when achieving the Tribulator level, each one capable of shaking the heavens and earth with its terrifying power!
“Carlo, get the defensive array up immediately! And fix the spiritual array on the spirit ship as fast as you can!” Jared ordered, his brow furrowing as he gazed at the terrifying storm ahead.
Carlo quickly gathered the disciples of the Duad Formation Sect. They began chanting in low voices, their palms glowing with light.
The light converged into a shield, enveloping the entire spirit ship.
The spirit ship, which had been rocking violently, suddenly steadied, and the tension in the hearts of everyone aboard began to ease.
The spiritual array was repaired as well, and with the infusion of spiritual energy, the spirit ship started moving forward again.
With the protection of the array, the spirit ship sailed smoothly, even amidst the chaos.
The alchemists aboard gradually calmed down, making their way to the bow of the ship to witness the terrifying spectacle outside.
Numerous demon beasts fled in panic, only to be struck down by the lightning.
“President Surrey, those people don’t seem to fear this storm. Their spirit ship is protected by a formation and is moving forward without hindrance,” Ernesto reported urgently after noticing the light radiating from Jared’s spirit ship, allowing it to sail smoothly through the storm.
Thaddeus frowned deeply at this discovery. “D*mn it, I forgot they have the Duad Formation Sect with them. Those guys are array experts. This storm won’t be enough to stop them, let alone kill them.”
“President Surrey, Mr. Boucher, there’s no need to worry. This is just a warm-up. The real storm hasn’t arrived yet,” Sinclair said with confidence.
“A stronger storm? That’s excellent news!”
Thaddeus’ mood brightened immediately.
Their spirit ship remained on the storm’s edge, unaffected, as they watched Jared’s group struggle in the heart of the tempest.

From the heavens above, bolts of lightning rained down like a torrential downpour. The ocean waves twisted into massive whirlpools, swirling continuously.
Tornadoes swept across the sea, merging with the dark clouds looming in the sky.
Amid the wild winds, blades of wind struck the spirit ship’s defensive array.
The storm tore the void apart, revealing cracks that emitted a chilling and eerie aura. Countless wind blades, accompanied by these void fractures, consumed everything in their path.
Jared’s spirit ship was like a small leaf, tossed about in the midst of the fierce winds and towering waves.
The alchemists, their faces pale and drenched in cold sweat, watched as lightning and wind struck the defensive array, their hearts heavy with fear.
They were all convinced that the spirit ship could be capsized at any moment, and if that happened, they would be torn to shreds by the storm.
However, Jared’s face remained emotionless, his gaze fixed intently on the largest storm forming among the smaller ones.
Carlo and his team’s defensive array could handle the smaller storms for now, but within the chaos, a massive storm, several miles wide, was slowly taking shape. This was the most lethal threat.
