An Understated Dominance Chapter 2333 by Marina Vittori

“My life is so miserable!” Caleb grumbled and sighed as he walked onto the battle ring.

Oron frowned at his lack of enthusiasm.

How could this punk have no fighting spirit? After all, he was one of Sacred Wrym Summit’s most talented disciples. Shouldn’t he show a bit more enthusiasm?

“Whoa! Sage Foyer’s star disciple is entering the ring. This is going to be exciting.”

“I’ve heard that he’s the most gifted disciple Sacred Wyrm Summit has seen in a century. He’s not even 20, yet he’s already mastered the Glow Incantation and Stormcraft. Plus, he’s skilled in Divine Talisman techniques. He’s even outshining his mentor.”

“Caleb’s talented, but he’s still young. He’s almost ten years younger than Sam, so his chances of winning are slim.”

“That’s right. Sam’s ranked ninth on the Legendary List. His cultivation and techniques are on another level. Caleb is nowhere near his level.”

As Caleb made his entrance, the spectators started murmuring.

Those who ranked on the Legendary List were in a league of their own. Only those who made it onto that list were considered geniuses. Even the most promising talents fell short if they didn’t earn a spot on the list.

Caleb might be the Pathfinder Guild’s genius, but he was still a few years away from making it onto the Legendary List.

With Sam using the Dawson Clan’s sacred weapon, Caleb’s chances of winning were slim. This match was about whether Caleb could showcase his abilities.

“Mr. Oron,” Caleb greeted respectfully as he stepped onto the battle ring.

“Don’t think about slacking off,” Oron said coldly. “If you don’t give it your best, you’ll face three years of meditation and no meat!”

“What? No meat for three years?”

Caleb’s eye twitched, and he pulled a face. “Mr. Oron, that’s too harsh!”

He wasn’t bothered by the idea of meditating as a punishment since he could catch some sleep anywhere. But three years without meat? That would drive him insane.

“I know you well,” Oron replied. “If I’m not tough on you, you won’t put in any effort.”

“Fine. I’ll do my best, but I can’t guarantee a win,” Caleb said with a shrug.

“I’m not asking for a win,” Oron said seriously. “But you can’t let others think we’re running out of talent.”

“Got it.” Caleb nodded and turned his attention to Sam. He said politely, “I’m Caleb Foyer from Sacred Wyrm Summit. ”

“I’m Sam Dawson from the Dawson Clan,” Sam replied indifferently. His voice was as cold as his expression hidden behind the Hellfire mask.

“Are both contestants ready?” Oron looked between the two. Once they nodded, he raised his hand and declared, “The ninth match begins now.

With that, he stepped off the stage.

“Between the Dawson Clan’s hidden weapons and Sacred Wyrm Summit’s spiritual technique, who do you think has the upper hand?” Aurora asked enthusiastically from the stands.

“Sam is ranked on the Legendary List. His strength is formidable, and with the Dawson Clan’s sacred weapon, the thousand-talon coffer, he should have a victory rate of over 90%,” Fenley replied.

He knew little about Caleb, but he was familiar with Sam. Even Fenley would struggle to match Sam’s power with the thousand-talon coffer.

Grace offered a different view. “The Dawson Clan’s hidden weapons aren’t ideal for the battle ring.

“On the other hand, Sacred Wrym Summit’s Glow Incantation and Stormcraft offer offense and defense, which can partially neutralize Sam’s attacks. So, I believe Caleb stands a good chance.”

Caleb’s skill in spiritual techniques was rumored to exceed Kaden’s and could even rival Arion’s. Standard criteria couldn’t measure a genius like Caleb. Moreover, the Legendary List rankings were merely guidelines and didn’t reflect absolute power.

“Dr. Rhys, what’s your opinion?” Alicia asked, looking at Dustin.

Since defeating Bill, Dustin’s status had risen significantly. Many forces were eager to recruit him.

Dustin pondered briefly and then answered, “It’s hard to say. Both are exceptional. If I had to choose, I’d say it’s a 50-50 shot.”

Sam might have a slight edge based on cultivation, but the outcome would depend on more than that. Techniques and hidden strategies would also play a crucial role.

“Looks like everyone has a different view on this match. Let’s wait and see who wins,” Alicia said with a smile.

In the battle ring, the outcome could change in an instant. It was often unclear who would win until the very last moment.

Sam and Caleb faced each other from a distance. Sam’s cold expression and commanding presence contrasted sharply with Caleb’s dejected and hesitant stance.

After a brief standoff, Sam sprang into action. With a swift flick of his wrist, a barrage of hidden weapons shot out from his sleeve.

The weapons shot out with blinding speed, their cold gleam slicing through the air and causing sonic booms. They advanced like relentless missiles and were seemingly unstoppable in their path.

Summary An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori

Dahlia Nicholson and Dustin Rhys had been married for three years. After Dahlia’s meteoric rise to success, she abandons the useless dead weight that’s Dustin, proposing divorce. Unbeknownst to her, everything she had ever achieved was only because of him.

Chapter 1 “Dustin, here is the divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Nicholson. All you need to do is sign them.” In the president’s office of the Quine Group, the secretary, Lyra Blaine, placed a piece of A4 paper on the table. A man sat opposite her, dressed in plain clothing. “Divorce? What do you mean?” Dustin Rhys was taken aback. “Do you not understand what I’m saying? Your marriage with Ms. Nicholson is over. You’re not even on the same level anymore. Your existence is nothing but a smear on the president’s reputation!” Lyra pulled no punches as she spoke. “A smear on her reputation?” Dustin frowned. “Is that how she thinks of me?” Back when they first got married, the Nicholson family was in ruinous debt. He was the one who helped them when they were at their lowest point. Now that they were rich, Dahlia Nicholson was ready to just kick him out. “Something like that.” Lyra jerked her chin toward the magazine on the table. A photo of a beautiful woman was printed on the front page. “Look at the headline on this magazine, Dustin. Ms. Nicholson’s net worth has hit one billion in the course of just three years, a feat no short of a miracle. She’s now the most desired woman in Swinton! With all this, she’s destined for greatness. But you, you’re just a regular joe. You don’t deserve her at all. I hope that you’ll see some sense and do the right thing.” When Dustin remained silent, Lyra frowned. “I know you’re not happy with this, but this is reality,” she continued. “You might have helped Ms. Nicholson when she was in trouble, but she has repaid you for everything you’ve done for her over the last three years. In fact, you’re the one who owes her now!” “Is our marriage just a business deal to her, then?” Dustin took a deep breath to suppress the emotions within. “If she wants to divorce me, let her speak to me herself.” “Ms. Nicholson is very busy. She doesn’t need to trouble herself with such trifling matters.” “Trifling matters?” Dustin was stunned. Then he laughed bitterly. “Is that so? Is divorce a trifling matter to her? She can’t even find the time to speak to me. Truly, she’s that unattainable now!” “Dustin, don’t delay this any longer.” Lyra pushed the divorce agreement toward him again. “Just sign here and you’ll get a car and a house as compensation. On top of that, you’ll also get eight million dollars. This is more than what you’ll be able to earn in your lifetime!” “Eight million dollars is a lot, but…I don’t need it. I will sign the divorce papers if she comes personally. Otherwise, I won’t sign anything,” Duston said coldly. “Don’t go too far, Dustin!” Lyra slammed her hand on the table. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you. With all her power and resources, Ms. Nicholson can divorce you easily. It’s only because she appreciates her past relationship with you that she’s allowing you to keep your dignity intact. Don’t provoke her!” “My dignity?” Dustin was a little amused by that. She didn’t even want to speak to him directly to divorce him. What kind of dignity was that? Moreover, if she really did appreciate their relationship, then why was she threatening him now?
