Shouldn’t Mess Up with My Hidden Heiress Ex-wife Chapter 137 by HusnaS

137. Never See Him Again

Heidi’s heart stopped beating for a few moments, her eyes fixed on him in a trance. Lucas straightened up and walked forward, looking nowhere else but her.

Seeing the man approaching, Isla whispered to Heidi, “Ms. Olsen, I’ll go ahead.”

She proceeded to the car while Lucas stopped in front of Heidi. He shoved both hands into his pockets, his blank expression not hiding his discomfort. “Heidi, I want us to discuss.”

“Whatever you want to say, I don’t want to listen,” Struggling to reign in her anger, Heidi said in a low voice

Lucas sighed. “I know I treated you wrong in the past. Can you let things go? Let’s have a fresh start.”

A fresh start!

Heidi wanted to laugh at his words, but the hurt in her heart wouldn’t let her.

“Mr. Harrison, your apology doesn’t matter. Whether I forgive you or not, we are still going to be strangers.”

“We won’t remain strangers if you come back to me, Heidi.” Lucas stepped forward, trying to hold her hand. His eyes were raw with emotions. “Just come back to me.”

“Just leave me alone! Lucas Harrison!” Heidi pushed him aside, her emotions surging high. “You really think I’m a fool, don’t you? Why don’t you go and say the same words to Tracy? Instead of wasting your time on me, won’t you rather go and focus on her and your baby!?”

Lucas was stunned by the words she said, his blank expression faltering. ” You knew?”

“Was it your wish that I didn’t know?” Heidi laughed, her eyes tearing up.

Suddenly, Lucas pulled her forward. The box dropped from Heidi’s hands and he hugged her firmly. “It was all a mistake. What happened with Tracy was never planned.”

“No! Let go of me!” Heidi gathered all her strength and pushed him away.

She wiped her tears and slapped him, her lips trembling. “Lucas Harrison, never appear in front of me again! I told you I don’t want to come back, okay!”

The parking lot echoed with her screams. Heidi pushed him out of her way and strode into the car.

Sitting in the backseat, she jabbed out several tissues from the compartment and dabbed her tears.

“Ms. Olsen, you’re so pitiful.” Isla sighed from beside her. “Why does he still want you after making his mistress pregnant? Mr. Harrison acts in a strange way.”

“I don’t want to speak about him or hear his name again,” Heidi sniffed, saying in an angry tone. “Never mention him.”

Heidi hoped she’d never see him again. Maybe she would have peace of mind.

Isla patted her shoulder. “I’m sorry. I won’t speak about him anymore.”

Lucas stood alone in the parking lot, his gaze following Heidi’s car driving away, his heart beating strangely.

He stood like that for some minutes, unmoving, until his phone rang.

Seeing Tracy’s name displayed on the screen, his brows pulled together, his eyes filled with irritation.

“What is it?” he answered the phone.

Tracy’s downcast voice came from the other end. “It’s urgent, Honey. Mum and Dad just came back. They want to see you immediately, can you please come down to our house?”

“What’s wrong?”

“I don’t know. But please you have to come. It will only take some minutes, I called Amanda and she told me you aren’t in the office. So I guess you’re not busy.”

After hanging up, Lucas stared at his phone, looking conflicted as if he had an inkling of what Tracy’s parents wanted to discuss.

[Please don’t turn down this request. Mum and Dad are eagerly anticipating your arrival.]

[You’re going to be there, right, Honey?]

[Everyone’s waiting.]

Tracy bombarded him with so many text messages that Lucas had to turn off his phone.
