Yuchi Yishu sent Tang Yuanyuan back to Tang’s residence.
Mr. Tang and Mrs. Tang just got home when Tang Yuanyuan got out of Yuchi Yishu’s car, and they happened to meet each other at the gate.
“Hi Dad! Hi Mom! Where have you been this early?”
The Tang couple and Yuchi Yishu glanced at each other. Both sides did not mention anything. Just then, Madam Tang stepped forward and gave Tang Yuanyuan a hug.
“We went out to do something. There was a downpour last night. Were you caught in the rain?”
Tang Yuanyuan shook her head. “We were not caught in the rain. We were having our dinner in a restaurant when it was pouring. It was just that we had to wait for a long time.”
“That’s good. With your current tiny physique, you might catch a cold or a fever if you were caught in the rain.”
As Mrs. Tang finished her sentence, she turned to look at Yuchi Yishu. “Thank you so much for taking care of her. I believe Yuanyuan has caused you a lot of trouble last night.”
Yuchi Yishu smiled faintly. “It’s nothing. I’ve been used to it since I was a child. Besides, she just turned into an adult the day before.”
“Have you taken your breakfast? Come on in, I’ll ask the maids to prepare breakfast for you.”
Hearing the word ‘breakfast’, Tang Yuanyuan immediately shook her head. “Mom,I can’t eat anymore, I have already eaten my breakfast. ”
“Well, Mr. and Mrs. Tang, I still have some other things to do, so I shall make a move first.”
“Are you not going to come in and have a seat? You just arrived…”
Tang Yuanyuan tugged onto Mrs. Tang sleeves and whispered. “Yishu had already spent his whole day with me the day before. I bet he has some other things to handle today.”
Look at the way she speaks for him. Mrs. Tang sighed.
Others say it’s a woman’s duty to get married, and it now seems that it’s not wrong at all. Yuanyuan was on his side even before marrying him. What would happen when they get married in the future?
However, as a woman, Mrs. Tang understood how Tang Yuanyuan felt.
“Okay, I know you feel bad for him. Yishu, you’d better leave now then. Have a safe drive.”
“Okay. Mr. and Mrs. Tang. I shall make a move first.”
After Yuchi Yishu left, Mrs. Tang hugged her daughter and asked in a low voice, “Where did you both go last night? Be honest with us, did you both check into the same hotel room last night?”
“Mom! What nonsense are you spouting? Yishu and I both slept in different rooms!” Tang Yuanyuan was shocked by her mother’s words.
“Different rooms? A normal hotel would only allow one room for each identification card. You left without bringing your own identification card last night, which hotel would allow you to get two rooms?”
“Mom!” Tang Yuanyuan seemed a little furious. “Yishu is not the kind of person that you imagine. Don’t you understand his character well? Besides, the hotel we went to was one of the hotels under his own family company. There was no need for identification cards.”
Mrs. Tang was stunned by Tang Yuanyuan’s words. “His own hotel?”
“Yes, Mom. Did you forget their family is in the hotel industry?”
Mrs. Tang was at a loss for words. “Which hotel?”
Tang Yuanyuan gave them the location. Mr. Tang came over to join the conversation. “So the both of you went to this hotel last night?”
“Yes.”
“Yuanyuan.” Mr. Tang rubbed his palms nervously. “What do you think of Yishu? Do you have feelings for him?”
Before Tang Yuanyuan blushed, Mrs. Tang gave a slap on Mr. Tang’s head. “What are you trying to ask? Why do you want to know so much about your daughter’s relationship? You’re a grown man, and she’s just a young lady. Do you think she won’t be shy when you ask something like this?”
Mr. Tang felt wronged when Mrs. Tang gave him a slap on the head. He touched his own head without saying anything.
It was really miserable to have such a controlling wife.
Tang Yuanyuan felt sorry when she looked at her father being hit by her mother, but she didn’t speak up for him.
After Mrs. Tang handled Mr. Tang, she turned to Tang Yuanyuan with a huge smile on her face.
“Yuanyuan, let’s not bother your father. Tell me, by the way Yishu treats you, do you think he has feelings for you? Also, do you have feelings for him? Although you had just become an adult the day before, there are certain things that I think I should ask you. After all, you’re no longer a child. There are a few things which you have to figure out yourself, do you know that?”
Tang Yuanyuan didn’t really understand what Mrs. Tang was trying to tell her, and her expression was a little confused.
“What happened, Mom? Why are you suddenly asking me all of these?”
After all, she had always expressed her feelings for Yishu, why did they keep asking the same question? Even Yishu was trying to restrain her from expressing her own feelings. Back then he did tell her that she should only talk about it when she became an adult.
However, he wasn’t even willing to give her a kiss despite the fact that she was already an adult.
She was sure that she liked him, but she didn’t know how he felt about her.
“I didn’t ask this question out of nowhere; I’ve always wanted to ask you about it. After all, you have to be able to figure out many things.”
Yuchi Yishu’s words prompted Mrs. Tang to give a thought about it. She waved her hand toward Mr. Tang, signalling him to enter the house. Then, she took Tang Yuanyuan’s hand and walked toward the garden.
“You have been hanging out with Yishu as a child. Since the day you were capable of remembering things, you have always had him all over your mind and your life. He is such an excellent man, and it is understandable that you would have feelings for him. But have you ever thought about checking out other guys?”
Mrs. Tang said earnestly, “I know you now have feelings for Yishu, but you have to realise that you have not really mingled with other boys. Is that why you subconsciously think that you have feelings for him? Maybe if you go out and meet other people, you might find out that your feelings toward Yishu are just a feeling of dependence. You might also find out that you have been treating him only as a brother instead of a lover.”
“Mom…”
“I just want you to have more options. I don’t want you to regret it in the future. Do you understand why I am doing this for you?”
Tang Yuanyuan frowned and said seriously, “But Mom, I also have been in contact with other boys.”
“Then tell me, who are they?”
“Chufeng, Zixi, Yangchen, and the others. They are all boys.”
However, she had never thought that she would fall for any of them besides Yuchi Yishu.
“Silly girl, that’s because you grew up with them. Well, even if you didn’t grow up with them, you have known them since you were a child. Why don’t you try to get to know more about the boys in your school? There must be many excellent boys in your school. Why don’t you try and get to know them better?”
Tang Yuanyuan shook her head. “I don’t want to try. Although we didn’t grow up together, I really don’t have the kind of feelings for them. Why do you keep thinking that it’s because I’m still young and immature, or it’s because I have never been in contact with other boys?”

“Mom, I know you’re doing this for the sake of me, but I’m determined that I don’t want to go around meeting other boys or ‘testing’ other boys. Although I am still young, I really know what I want.”
Seeing that she was a little agitated, Mrs. Tang had to immediately change her words. “Don’t be angry. I’m just giving you a suggestion. If you think my suggestion is wrong, then you don’t have to follow it.”
Tang Yuanyuan let out a sigh of relief. “Thank you, Mom.”
