Xiao Su quickly dismissed the idea that she did it on purpose, and hoped that she wouldn’t kick him again. He wouldn’t be able to take it if she continued all night.
Shortly after that, he shut his eyes and went back to sleep.
There was still no movement after a while, so Jiang Xiaobai opened her eyes and looked at him, and found that he had actually gone back to sleep. Hmph! He seems to be sleeping soundly. Is he aware that tomorrow’s the wedding of his beloved woman? And he still can sleep so soundly? Does he even have a heart?
Jiang Xiaobai was furious. She wasn’t satisfied that she had only kicked him twice earlier, for Xiao Su had fallen asleep right afterward. She wanted to make things so unbearable for him that it would keep him awake, but he was asleep again.
So, she raised her leg, planning to kick Xiao Su again, and pretended to sleep.
But this time, she wasn’t successful. When Jiang Xiaobai was about to kick him, her leg was caught suddenly.
Jiang Xiaobai was stunned as she raised her eyes to look at Xiao Su. His gaze was sharp and alert, as though the fact that he was fast asleep earlier was all an illusion.

After hearing it, Jiang Xiaobai understood everything, so she grinded her teeth. “Since you already knew, then why did you pretend to be asleep?”

“How come I feel like you are actually scolding me?” Xiao Su squinted his eyes and stared at Jiang Xiaobai. She is too wicked. She could think of kicking me in the middle of the night and denied it so quickly, saying she was actually kicking a pig in her dreams? It’s clear as hell that she was insulting me! This girl really has to bully me all the time to be satisfied.
“Scolding you?” Jiang Xiaobai sneered. She blinked as she said to him word by word, “Have you heard it wrong? I was not scolding you; I was scolding a pig.”
Xiao Su was speechless.
He took a deep breath and decided not to argue with her, so he pursed his thin lips and closed his eyes again.
“Now that you’re done scolding, go back to sleep.”
What? This pig is going back to sleep? Didn’t he feel anything when I scolded him? Jiang Xiaobai stretched out her hand and pushed him. “Don’t sleep! Why are you sleeping?”
Xiao Su opened his eyes again and looked at her helplessly.
“What’s wrong with you tonight?”
“Don’t you know what’s happening tomorrow?”
